What is your favorite Olympic Event that you wouldn't normally channel surf for on an average weekend?

Me? Archery. I stumbled across it and found it mesmerizing.

You?

I'm not sure if the sled sports are considered B list for winter but they are some of my absolute favorite to watch, summer included

Easy. Bobsled.

Watching that thing fly down what is essentially a frozen waterslide is awesome. I have on my bucket list to one day go to either Lake Placid or Utah to take a ride down the track (with someone who knows what they are doing, of course).

I would always watch non-Olympic year bobsled events during the winter back when the Olympic Channel (RIP) was still a thing.

Fencing

It's the closest thing we have to sword fighting, and I love every second of it

Archery, Short Track speed skating, the speed climbing event they introduced in Tokyo,

I thought the surfing format was very challenging for TV, and I understand why all previous surfing is highlight reels.

The street skateboarding format was not good imo and I hope they rework it for Paris.

Fencing is good but it’s almost impossible to tell how touched first in some of the formats.

Pentathlon

The modern pentathlon is an Olympic sport consisting of fencing (one-touch épée), freestyle swimming, equestrian show jumping, pistol shooting, and cross country running.

Triathlon. The Olympic distance is a “short” course for these athletes and they go the whole way (32 miles in total) like it is a sprint. They are absolutely hauling and just don’t care about how much they suffer.

what is a b event?

in summer, hammer throw is kind of crazy, water polo is decent

in winter,i think bobsledding, luge, skull, speed skating, etc are great events.

My niece won gold at the pan am games in Argentina a few years ago. It’s not just for show either. She deer hunts and ONLY hunts with a bow.
