Stallworth was better and much more consistent.

714 homers is rookie numbers right? Anyone can do that. Oh and .342 avg with 2800+ hits
Yeah he sucked as a pitcher too, right?

In his "prime" Sanders was as close to a shut down corner as there had ever been in the NFL and a pretty scary returner.
Also, he was no slouch on the diamond either. People in the track world have said that if he had stayed only with track he could have been one of the best of his era

He had a vote of 99.7% for the Hall of Fame. (2nd highest % All Time behind Mo)
This is why Jeter’s overrated imo. Still a hall of famer but not on that level.

Pretty sure Babe Ruth was crushing HRs when outfield dimensions were much higher than today.

I want to say this is a poor troll attempt, but you got a ton of bites.

100% rigged game. It was the future and the NFL knew it.
Why would the NFL rig its own team to lose?

This is why Mayweather can’t be the greatest despite retiring undefeated. This is why Rocky became an icon even though he lost

Voters are no longer holding grudges or leaving off a unanimous choice only because they know they will get the requirement.
There’s still the dynamic of a guy already getting 90+ percent doesn’t need the votes as much as a guy struggling to get over 5% or almost at 75%

Derek Jeter.
One of the worst defensive short stops of all time.
Did not hit a lot of HR’s or RBI’s.
Career batting average of 310 is good but not great.
Overhyped player that would hardly be known if he played for the Oakland A’s with the exact same stats

He snapped his hip in half in the middle of his prime

Joe Namath, who threw significantly more interceptions than touchdown passes for his career.
In an era where defensive backs could do anything to wide receivers and defensive lineman could headslap offensive linemen and quarterbacks. Most Hall of Fame quarterbacks from the 60s and 70s had career interception stats close to their touchdown passes stats--Namath, Bradshaw, Stabler, Tarkenton, Fouts, Unitas all had touchdown pass to interception ratios of 1.5 to 1 or worse.

It was Pro Bowl, not all-pro. Big difference.
And he made the all star game once. Made the pro bowl once.
You're correct that it was the pro bowl and not all pro.
But still, make the list of everyone else that have accomplished the feat.

Lol his career fielding percentage is .9762. Exactly two points behind Ozzie Smith. Good enough for 45th all time...with over 20k innings played at SS.
I get why people say he is way overhyped and agree with that for the most part. But to call him one of the worst defensive SS of all time is just not accurate. 254 errors over 23,000 innings is pretty damn solid.

He had a beautiful swing - albeit against powder-puff pitchers at 75 MPH.

OP listed probably one of the most dominating players ever compared to their contemporaries (which is really how players should be judged). What a terrible take.
