Nabers gun charge impacting draft stock?

Could just be the typical draft rumors teams like to use for misdirection.
If he does slip, it will be great value for a team not in top 10. He’s the best wr in the draft.
By the way, this article refers to his comments made in the IG Live video with him, Jayden, & BTJ from the other night

The LSU junior is known as a high-maintenance prospect who may struggle in a big city. There are off-the-field questions Nabers has had to answer during the draft process, and teams must feel comfortable with those answers if they’re going to invest an early draft pick and millions of dollars in his services.

Less than a 0% chance he slips out of the top 10 even if teams do balk at the charge, which I dont think they will
Falcons pick at 8 and an offense with Kirk Cousins throwing to Nabers, Drake London, Kyle Pitts, and Bijan Robinson immediately becomes a problem in the NFC

Dude no team is worrying about that

Reports being generated by teams drafting around 7-10 that want him im sure

Lmfao nobody thinks of Nabers as a high maintenance prospect.

Typical draft smoke screen.
1. Charge was for carrying during Nola Mardi Gras (not the worst idea in the world)
2. Daniel Jones is obviously not a good QB; sorry Malik just calls it how it is

WTF does this even mean? In what way is Nabers high maintenance?

Maybe he likes manicures?

He did fine as a college kid in shithole ultra-dangerous murder capital Baton Rouge, but I’m sure he’d be so lost as an adult millionaire in the mean streets of cities like Los Angeles, San Diego, Miami, and Seattle

Well that is quite the conundrum considering EVERY NFL team (except for Green Bay) is located in a "big city". Some are larger than others. But they are all big. And is population really the determining factor?
Given general crime statistics, where is a young man more apt to get into trouble. Seattle or New Orleans? The Seattle metro area is twice as big in terms of population. But NOLA has a significantly higher crime rate (per capita)
There is always some degree of truth to these "rumors". But it very well could be purposely over exaggerated given many have New York as a possible landing spot. Perhaps put out by Nabers's advisors (though unlikely) because he doesn't want to play for the Giants. Or (more likely) put out by someone picking behind NYG who badly wants him to fall past #6

Jalen Carter was drafted top 10 just last year.

Well that's total BS. You never heard a negative word the past 3 years about Malik. That's typical draft schadenfreude by other agents and some teams hoping he falls to them.

No way. Carrying a gun for protection, especially in the FQ, is not an indication of bad moral character. Plus, the charge was dismissed

Big deal
He ain’t falling out of first round
Could end up with a better team

Dude represented LSU incredibly well and was a team player. Nothing burger.

Good. Please slip to cincy’s slot.

Agree, total smoke screen. He has what the NFL wants, good film and a fast 40 time, they could care less about anything else.
Posted on 4/10/24 at 12:11 pm to JimTiger72
High maintenance? This has to be typical draft smoke thrown out by teams and or agents of other players that wants Nabors to drop. Not saying the dude might not be the normal WR diva but we never heard anything bad about him in his 3 years here. I am calling bullshite on this
