clearly some rotation in that storm around sorrento, i guess it is still too broad for a warning

What can the experts tell me about the AP storm? Thunder woke me up and looking at the radar, it looks like it’s got big potential.

Just had the house shook off 42 near La nursery. Tree hit by lightning. It sounds like a Mack truck coming through.

It’s hitting lake Charles now. The rain and wind is insane. Reminds me of a hurricane.

Some times you can find it on the single site NWS radar as storm total precipitation.

Here it is from my RadarOmega App, some places look like they got more than 10 inches near Longview.

What was with that velocity signature that went right by the radar in Lake Charles? Showed 100mph right next to the site going to and from it

ETA: think it was just the squall line

I suggest everyone east of Lake Charles put everything that can blow away in your garage. The wind before the main line is beyond strong.

Free did you leave the gas “on”, thus leaving had the carb the time while stored?

If so, you’ll need the carb serviced.

I’ve done it myself before, it’s just cleaning all the resin out of the carb that is left over as the gas evaporates.

Here in NW Calcasieu. Slacking up some but that shite was rough. Most lighting I’ve seen in quite some time. Wife’s coworkers are saying Lake Charles is getting hammered right now. Over inch sized hail being reported in DeQuincy.
