Reagan tripled the national debt. Took us from being the world's largest international creditor to the world's largest debtor nation. You think this was a good thing?

Reagan spent like a drunken sailor. He spent more than any president before him.
You got downvotes but you are partially correct. Reagan spent a lot, doubling or quadrupling the National Debt, but he did it with specific purposes and intent.
The Star Wars Initiative spending spree led to the technology boom of the early 90’s. An investment that paid off well, it just took time and some was wasted by the Clinton Administration wandering off the investment plan for their own agenda.
Reagan essentially bought our way out of the stagflation caused by previous administrations, plural. But Reagan did raise the debt to record setting levels at the time.

So I get many toiletries from Dollar General (yes I’m cheap, I like paying less for some things) and yesterday I needed some antiperspirant/deodorant. I used to get a two-pack of Degree for $4.25, now it’s $7.00. That’s over a fricking 60% increase, and it’s not only on that brand. Every brand has increased prices at least 50-75%.
fricking everything is getting so damn expensive. Food, cleaning supplies, toiletries, you name it.
This fricking inflation is out of control.
It's all in your mind, everything is fine, vote Dim/Groomer 2024.

All you have to look at is fuel costs.
It raises the cost of everything.
It raises the cost of everything.

Pay closer attention. Dollar general sucks and nothing there is cheaper than your big chain grocery store

Let me preface this by saying that I am a conservative and not pro-Biden by ANY means, however, he was not all that wrong in his last SOTU when he mentioned businesses exhibiting bad behavior. There is a significant amount of "what can we get away with" going on in every industry. I.e. Mcdonald's cost of a burger is 1.00 and they sell it for 4.00 and it goes up to 1.20, they aren't just going up to 4.80 to reflect the same margins. No, instead they are going "hey everyone knows there's inflation get what you can" and charging 7.20 for it.

Pretty soon companies will be paying you to take their products.

People scream about inflation. They rarely scream when the Fed prints money and gives it away, which of course is the cause of inflation. Blame those people, who usually are the same people screaming about inflation.

Inflation is how the Democrats tax the poor, fixed income, and retirees!
Remember, those in the know make money on economic change. Doesn’t matter if the economy is going up or down, just as long as it moves.

I don't think he ever said it up only 10%. He only said inflation is dropping.

The price increases on groceries in 4 fricking years is completely insane. The sad part it's I see no signs of slowing down.
What are people going to do, not eat? Demand isn't going away and they've had the perfect excuse for all the price hikes.
Business have taken risks and made a lot of questionable decisions because it's the perfect time to do so; anything that goes south can be blamed on "COVID", "supply chain issues", or similar.

You dumb idiot. What came out of that spending?

Walmart has really raised their prices..
Walmart is being enough that they can charge high prices at first which are profitable, if the product moves, then can clearance anything not moving after a while.
This has been very evident since about 2020 once the global supply chain got disrupted.

My wife (no pics) likes getting greeting cards from Dollar ($1.25) Tree. Recently she picked up a pack of 5 thank you cards for $1.25. In the past, she paid $1.00 for a pack of 10. This is a 250% increase.
