My “struggling” is not really struggling. I’m annoyed at stuff costing more, but money isn’t really that big of an issue (but about to buy a median home in my area so maybe it is idk)

This is a free country. You want to spend your income on frivolous shite then bitch because you can't afford anything, go ahead. But that's no one else's problem but yours.
Ehhh, there are expenses now that boomers did not have to pay:
Mandatory insurance on everything
Cell phone plans
Internet
All of these are major monthly spends on top of the ever increasing cost of homes and food. I really do see it as a problem, but I also know that jacking up minimum wage isn’t the fix.

Go look at his thread started history. I honestly dont think hes a troll. I think he is just stupid.
I dont think English is his first language. He strikes me as Indian.

$100,000 when I was a child was a LOT of money. Now that is barely enough to afford mild comfortabilities.
Get your head out of your arse.
Just depends on where you live.
I make around $90k per year and live very comfortably IMO.

No because the younger generation wants to start off where their parents ended up.

Maybe you should forgo that 2 million dollar home and put some money away for a while

So buy a cheaper home.
Currently in Dallas on Zillow there are 502 of 1705 listings under $400K.

You also need to consider that "median" homes in metro areas are usually really small or in shite hole areas.
A quick Zillow search shows that homes for sale in Dallas, TX for $400k-$450k are around 1500-1800 square feet. I don't know the area that well to know what's good or not.
For many who want a "middle class" life, they're looking for a nice, sizable house in a good school system with safe places for their kids to grow up. Does the median get you that? How much would someone need to make in Dallas to achieve that lifestyle?
I'm thinking at least $200k household.

This really is a bad solution because I work in tech and most of my colleagues went over seas to Europe or Asia for cheaper rent even vs rural America while having much better amenities

This is a huge issue too. People my age (under 40) are taking family and couples trips to Europe and the Caribbean and all over the world. fricking how?

Also multiple vehicles, electronic devices, expensive vacations, etc

Baws, the government will make ze pods much more affordable.

Vehicle prices almost 10x from when boomers bought them. Most electronics didn’t exist, etc. is the expectation that we move back 40 years?

Don't forget the two new vehicles, updated wardrobes, and travel ball for the kiddos.
I don't get it either. My wife and I make $140k, and we live very comfortably. But there's a lot we don't do to afford life right now.

My wife and I make great money. It still baffles me what I see people driving and affording.

What’s wrong with that? I can afford them. Not related to this topic

He also said a few days ago he works in econ and now he works in “tech”. He can’t keep his lies straight.

Modern vehicles are also much more luxurious than the vehicles boomers were buying too.
More luxury is going to cost more.
Most Americans complain about how everything was more affordable for boomers but would not live that same lifestyle.
