Election investing advice

New to Money Talk. Need opinions on Nov. election. I am a Trump supporter.
I see two scenarios:
First is a Trump victory despite all the fraud and a move by electors, Dems in Congress and/or administration to not certify the election. Maybe go so far as to ignore Supreme Court and we still have Biden/Harris for foreseeable future. A coup. In the past I would have said the military would step in but not so sure anymore.
Second is a Biden victory with the fraud so blatant that obvious we have one party rule on the national level into the future.
My wife and I are retired and besides our incomes have savings/investments mostly conservatively invested for preservation and moderate income. Try to keep risk as low as possible.
What does the folks on this board recommend? Serious question

Ignore the elections when it comes to investing.

Oh FFS, I recommend you turn off the news, get off social media and start enjoying your retirement. Worrying about hypothetical scenarios that will never materialize seems like a complete waste of your golden years.

Have you been paying attention?
This is Obama’s third term.

Say what you want about Joe Biden, but if you think *he* is the authoritarian who would stage a coup to maintain power ... I don't really know what to tell you.

Making financial decisions based on the knowledge you are presenting is a great way to lose money

You came to a board where 90% of people vote Republican. And we all think you are a dimwit

That’s what I’m doing, haven’t changed anything. I’m about 60% stocks and stock mutual funds,40% cash in CD’s,(I’m 73)Nevertheless,I’m pretty pessimistic about the future.
I think we are fricked.I see the Cloward-Piven strategy coming to fruition.

In the 11.5 years we’ve had of Obama and Biden, the S&P 500 is up a cumulative ~275%.
I don’t care about the election for my broad investments.

I’m betting you’ve purchased gold from that old guy on the Fox News Channel.
Turn off the news and enjoy your retirement.
I have a friend that went to cash right before Obama was elected because, “the market’s going to crash if Obama becomes POTUS.” He sat in cash for years waiting for a reentry point, missing out on big gains.
Stop trying to time the market.

You just watch the fed buddy. When they cut, that means Biden is implementing martial law and it’s time to pull some out of stocks. Bookmark it.

I see two options:
1)Stock market goes up over my working life. So I will try to keep investing regularly.
2) It crashes, never comes back, and we end up eating tree bark.
I am going to keep betting on number 1, cause number 2 sounds depressing.
I will say that election years tend to be tumultuous, so I figure there will be some wild swings and I like to buy on red days. Not sure if there is any real math behind that, but it makes me feel good to buy on those days.
