Would be the biggest additions to next year’s team we can have.

Maybe get a true PG along with the other big center we got and I think we will have a dangerous team if those 2 stay.

HVL admitted, pre season, to being almost obsessive over her standing in the player rankings. To me, that means she's serious about playing at the next level. Just don't see her present game transferring to the WNBA; I can see her going to play in Europe.

They make more money staying. We will have more depth next year. They seem to have developed a sisterhood. I'm not sure what the pluses are for them to leave this year rather than to play another year unless they're just tired of the crap they get.

I hope they stay, but I have no idea what they will do. We will find out shortly.

They’d be idiots not to. College WBB is so much bigger than the WNBA right now, this is probably the most famous they’ll ever be and they’ll make more money in college… once they go to the WNBA no one will care. My girlfriend’s never watched a basketball game in her life and still she knows who Angel Reese, Caitlin Clark and Kim Mulkey are.

I can’t even name more than 5 WNBA teams. Nor do I wish to get to the point where I can.

We have a freshman coming in who is exactly that. The top women's player in Louisiana who lead her team to 4 straight state championships. Can she step right in and do it? Only time will tell but she did that in highschool

You put Georgia Amoore from Va Tech (18 ppg and 7 assists) who is transferring on a team with Reese and HVL staying, and that would be one hell of a team. Jada Richard from Louisiana is a PG and LA Gatorade Player of the Year but I haven't seen her highly rated nationally. But then again, Del Rosario was ranked in the top 10 nationally, and she didn't remotely resemble her high rating this season. Her fouls almost matched her points.

how does reese have a 5th year?

she was a freshmen in 2020-2021 which wasn’t the covid year. she also played 15 games which over 30%.

I think Angel is 100% done with playing school and will head to the league. HVL she should stay unless she's just done with school too

I would of course love to see Angel back next season, she plays hard and to be honest she has areas she could improve on with another season of college ball.

HVL, I like her and would like to see her back, but that seems a little more problematic. Where is she gonna play. They simply cannot repeat this season’s experience with her at point next year. A freshman phenom is coming in. May or may not work out but we know HVL is not the answer at point. And I sure wouldn’t start her over Flauje or Morrow or even Mikayla Williams. If she would be willing to accept a non-starting role I would love to see her back. I do like her tenacious approach to the game.

They both need to move on. They have had their day in the sun and it is time for some new blood.

This is such a different dynamic than male players going to the NBA. They will make more money if they stay through NIL. It only makes sense to stay and take another run at this.

Women’s college basketball is soaring right now because players stay and you can actually follow great players and teams over years. That’s how men’s college basketball used to be and how college football still is, to an extent.

They SHOULD stay. Will they? Depends on what they want, I guess.

But, who knows anyone in the WNBA right now? Everyone knows Caitlyn Clark and Angel Reese and South Carolina’s undefeated team and it goes on and on.

They need a true point guard and a big center that can play right away and not have to develop. South Carolina's center totally alters the game plans of opposing teams because she can play defense and score. We don't have a true point guard or a "big" right now that's ready to play at an elite level and to win a NC you need to have both.
