The hypocrisy is what I find to be the issue
Also this is his take on it

I love to watch the Left open a can of worms, then try to explain why it's (D)ifferent despite the exact same circumstances.

Totally…plus Tish was just fulfilling an un-Constitutional campaign pledge against Trump as well. Come on now, what else was a strong independent black woman supposed to do?

SFP is a great attorney. He is just playing devils advocate.

No doubt you don’t see the hypocrisy in Stewart’s claim about appraised value vs assessed value.

This has nothing to do with politics, nope, zip, zero, nada!! This is about a REAL bad orange man.

Just wait until this start to trickle down to us "normal" people. That's when the real fun begins.
They're already on a very dangerous slippery slope with Trump but they if they move forward on Stewarts especially it could be a avalanche of lawsuits by anyone who's purchased property in NY that paid over the "tax value" .
I know he's a dim so it's different but his really is different.
Stewart's scenario is different because he was selling his property not applying for financing.
So they would be going after him for listings/ selling his property over the " State's“ valuation for tax purposes.
This would essentially empower the State to set & control real estate values. Think how bad that would get with the DEI shite .. the whole thing is a fricking joke, the prosecutor and judge should be disbarred.

You are a fricking moron. Trump didn't set the tax value on any of his properties. The State set those values. It doesn't matter what he put on his personal financial statement. The State and the Lenders set their own values on the properties.
Posted on 3/31/24 at 12:11 pm to WPBTiger
What someone values their own property at is completely fricking irrelevant. The market dictates property value.
Why is this even a story?
Why is this even a story?

People will be sued just because they are white.
YES. This also means you white liberals.
You voted for it. Lay in it.

Stewart, or any citizen, can put his house on the market for any damned price he wishes.
Which is immoral in a housing crisis…

Look, I'm just trying to explain why Stewart's situation is not atcall comparable to Trump.
But if it doesn't matter what information Trump gave to the banks and the tax commission, then why did they ask him for it?

So wait, are you alleging that in Florida, a business gets to declare its own property value for purposes of tax assessment?
No.
I'm saying that Trump supplied information to the New York Tax Commission regarding the valuation of his NY properties. It's a matter of record in the trial.

The prosecutions of Trump are obvious weaponization of government. But I personally know Democrat voters who feel the same way.

It’s ok to say Stewart made a stupid comment. It’s also ok to say Trump didn’t commit fraud. You just can’t bring yourself to do it. So you go in these Lon winded irrelevant diatribes.
I don't know why you get so wound up about this stuff. Im not even arguing with you. Youre the one creating "long winded diatribes."
My only point was that this isn't the "gotcha" people think it is. If Stewart said assessed value vs. Market value is proof of fraud, then that is a dumb statement. It's a dramatic way of making Trump's fraud look worse. But it has nothing to do with Stewart's own situation.
But Trump DID commit fraud. He made demonstrably false statements in verified documents. The banks charged him lower interests rates and fees because of it...but they don't seem to care and most of us don't either.
That's why I'm still questioning how the New York law can be used in this way.

That will be the perfect move for Trumps appeal
I doubt an appellate judge would even admit that as relevant. I can’t avoid a law by saying some other guy did. Anyway, I think Trump has much better grounds, and he will win as soon as the case is elevated to the point of having non partisan judges.
