I have 2 emails… my work and a gmail i set up over 20 years ago.

My work email is checked every 5 min I’m awake. So zero unread and only 15 not responded to in there.

The other one??! Who cares

I check my shite on my time - work and personal - email is not an instant communication tool - i could have several unread messages right now - ubsubscribe from spam religiously - i should get paid like a life coach and shite for posting this

Damn, I had a boss who had 25,000 or so unchecked emails in her inbox and I thought that was crazy. I get 100-150 emails per day at work and it doesn’t sit well until I get them down to at least 20. Those are my to-do list and get filed to the side as soon as they’re done.
And they’re all read.

My wife has 135k+ last time I checked. She also perpetually has at least 1 missed call notification. Would drive me crazy.

I’ve turned off the badge for unread emails. I must clear all badges for the phone icon though.

At work, zero, but I have 1k+ open in my inbox and it makes me crazy. I remind myself daily "Liz you aren't saving lives".
