Do you think there would be a thread about our end on Tiger Droppings
In all fairness, with 30 minute notice, I’m gonna first focus on getting laid before checking Tiger Droppings. The remaining 27 minutes will be spent on Tiger Droppings.

Nuclear war is trashy.

The good news is y’all would have a short time to celebrate as Barksdale AFB and North Louisiana would be one of the first places wiped off the map.

I applaud your priorities but I believe our detection system would give us 11 minutes notice. 29 minutes from launch to detonation. But we wouldn’t pick up ICBMs until re-entry. That’d be roughly 11 minutes. That is assuming our government let us know as soon as they knew. Still, that potentially gives you a solid 8 minutes of shite posting.

No one is going to mention the SPR? Y'all realize that is a priority target and it's right in our backyard.
SPR should be pretty far down the target list to be honest. We don’t store refined products in the SPR, just crude oil. If you take out the refineries it becomes fairly useless.
Conventional wisdom holds that any nuclear first strike would be focused primarily on the country’s ability to retaliate. That means targeting nuclear installations first and foremost, followed by other military installations, followed by the defense industrial base. I would expect the defense industrial base starts with aerospace companies and weapons manufacturers and eventually moves to refineries and petrochemical plants. Once you reach that point, though, you’re kind of wasting warheads aiming at the SPR. We make 13 million barrels of oil a day.
That said, Erath and the Henry Hub might be fricked.

SPR and gulf oil makes us a prime target for the invasion. They can travel up the Mississippi River and split the country.
I think we get spared on the nukes for that reason

They would make it to the Mississippi delta and swamps of tensas parish and say frick it, not worth it.

I'm headed to Bogalusa because it has no redeeming qualities to make it a nuclear bombing site.

Nuclear War in South Louisiana

If the missiles start flying, I’m just going to go sit out in the front porch and wait for the second sunrise. I hope one overshoots New Orleans and takes me out in the first round. I want to be one of the ones the survivors envy.
