My guess is the argument would be that their suit purposely used faulty methodologies which has adversely impacted their livelihoods and that the faulty methodologies were applied solely for political purposes, instead of seeking out justice for a harmed party.
they probably aren’t crying over their tax evaluation.
Nothing in NY is stopping them from selling their properties. The Eccles Building is in DC

Now tie it back to the biden adm while pelosi was speaker and have the state of Florida take her new retirement home in south florida....have the lawyer tear up her deed on national tv.

Will be immune because they were acting in an official capacity.
A big nothingburger

It makes sense seeing how they are both trying to to diminish the value of Florida properties.
YES! This had crossed my mind already...these frick nuts in NY who are simply out to get Trump with this most absurd illegal scam they are running are simultaneously negatively influencing the value of the property in the Mar-A-Lago area.

Considering both the selective prosecution of Trump and the valuation of MAL at $18m, this could violate their immunity.
They brought case against Trump and had a summary judgment against him claiming fraud because he had MAL listed as being worth X, while the state of NY declared it wasn’t worth X.
These people are suing because it means any attempt to get a loan from a NY bank could result in them being either lowballed or brought up on similar fraud charges.

Just make sure the suit is filed in Florida
I doubt that the New York AG is subject to personal jurisdiction in Florida.

How does a NY judge have authority to decide what Florida property is worth?

What official capacity do they have to determine FL RE values? I bet that will be the basis of the suit if there is one. They should not be able to undermine RE values in other states. Nevermind the fact that they aren't even qualified to appraise properties in NY much less FL or act as a tax-assessor in FL.

Really? Her suit and the judgement from the judge has direct effect on property values of land/property values. They are absolutely subject to jurisdiction in Florida

Didn't realize that the judge/AG's asinine shenanigans had anything to do with the true value.
E.g. Has the state of florida updated Maralago on the tax roles to reflect a value of 18m? Have the neighbors properties now plummeted on the open market?

Like I put in my above post... Did anything change post-assinine valuation for the sake of getting trump?
Pretty sure the Florida property tax group is still the end all/be all in regards to the true value that is relevant to all others, and Trump, outside of this NY bullshite.

The loan values on their properties will be affected by this. Hence a law suit is cooking in the oven.

How? Again, what authority does NYC have to place value on anything outside of the get Trump saga?
The homeowner can pull up the Florida Tax Assessor website and show what its valued at or have an appraiser in Florida quickly show the real value

Guess we will have to wait and see what the suit claims.
No judge and DA in another state should be able to do what they did. They shouldn't even be able to determine values in NY without an average of 2 or 3 appraisals for properties as large as what Trump owns. NY state should be suing them for what they did. Not just FL.

Agree 100%, but outside of the trial, I don't see how their valuation changes anything.

In Florida. They hurt his neighbor’s property values in Florida. No one gives a shite about NYC.

No, but that's kind of the point, innit? Assuming the suit isn't dismissed, NY will have to prove that their own case was bullshite.
