Put feeders out 2 weeks ago and have seen 1 this past week. Just north of Lake Charles.

No sightings in Denham. Feeders went up this week and annuals not blooming yet. Did pot some hummingbird mint and million bells.

I put out two earlier this weekend. Anyone have tips on how to get the best chance at seeing them near your feeders? Mine get some indirect sunlight throughout most of the afternoon and are near some bright azaleas.

I find that when I hang my feeders directly over a blooming plant/group of plants that they love, that helps. Anything brightly colored with tubular shape.

Put my feeder out last week, but have yet to see any. Maybe this is the post I needed to make to change that.

I had one buzz me in the yard on Tuesday in Central.

Feeders out as of two days ago, but haven't seen any yet. But a bit early for North Alabama.
I decided this year I didn't want to come home to one staring at me like I'm an a-hole through the window like most years.

And remember, folks... there's no significant data suggesting red dye is conclusively bad for them!

We have a couple of window feeders. If not I wouldn't have seen them yet.

Central MS as well and haven’t seen anything. It’s been cool though

Had my first 2 yesterday already fighting over one feeder. Have another feeder 20 yards away.

Ponchatoula - They've been coming around our feeder and plants for a couple weeks.

Put out a feeder last week but no hummers yet. Took it down this morning to dump the old nectar, clean it, refill and see if they start showing up. As soon as I see one, the other 7 feeders go up.
