Quiet On Set: Nickelodeon Documentary

my wife has been watching this at night and has been crying the entire time. sounds pretty mess up

I am not defending Schneider in any way, he was an a-hole that abused his power and allowed predators to gain access and power over kids.

BUT

Him being a misogynistic a-hole that made kids film scenes with sexual inuendos is a far cry from the Brian Peck guy and the other guy that actually molested and raped kids.

Not saying that Schneider wasn't a POS. He definitely was. But the focus of the documentary missed, imo, because they tried to act like being an a-hole and a misogynist is equal to raping children.

I think I was soured going in knowing the main "investigator" is a writer for Business Insider who is known to approach a story with an angle and only look for evidence to support that angle while ignoring any evidence that does not support the angle.

I also thought the main focus should have been on the overall climate of Hollywood and abusing children rather than how much of a dick Dan Schneider is.

I really don't want to watch this.

I know all the rumors/blinds about Dan Schneider for the longest time. I say I won't watch it, then I end up watching it and buying a new TV. frick that dude.

The one parent in particular that bothered me was the one that said "i didnt call the cops because i didnt want them to think i was a bad parent" like what!

Wouldnt be shocked to see a disney version of this come out in the next few years.

This was weird. Dude seems way too calm after everything that was recently aired.

The part where they talked about Brian Peck calling Drakes gf's house repeatedly sent chills down my spine. That is effed up.

I finished this over the weekend.
Gotta say, I’ve always assumed Dan Schneider was a child molester. It didn’t do anything to sway me that he is. I do think he’s a douche. He comes off as the stereotypical power-mad Hollywood producer. Not at all saying he’s a good guy. But not one of the kids had anything to say about him touching them. Drake Bell said Dan was the only person there for him.

I’d bet he has a personality similar to Corey Feldman or Michael Jackson (probably not a good example). But what I mean is a stunted maturity that keeps him still in the child world to a degree. That’s likely what made him so successful as a kid’s show creator. Combine that with a corporation that only cares about money and parents that are getting rich off their children and you get Arianna Grande jerking off a potato.

I don’t know. All the signs are there that he’s a monster. It’s weird that there are no allegations.

Damn, this show actually made me support Dan Schneider. I hated him, and now I'm kind of on his side.
