This is a very likely scenario to happen with the fact that there have been so many Republican going to retire etc. Congress has to certify the election. Democrats will simply not certify the election and the Supreme Court has already ruled that Congress is the one to do these things. Do you see this happening?

Of course, they will actually DO the thing they ACCUSED Orange Man Bad trying to do.

And the media will fawn over it like they've saved the Union.

POTUS Trump will have super Republican majorities in the House and Senate.

The people have seen and witnessed what happens with Democratic leadership. They want no more of it.

Nothing really. More spending.

GOP will take the senate.

I don't think the Dems will "easily" take the house.

I am not sure how congress would work, but if no one gets the required 270 electoral votes then the 12th amendment kicks in and the president is elected by the house by a "Contingent Vote" which means that each state delegation gets one vote regardless of the number reps that state has. Example California and Wyoming each get one vote. The senate will elect the Vice President with each senator getting one vote.

Contingent Election of President

Pathetic.

Yes, the likelihood is that the Democrats take the House. There is no reason to believe the House wouldn’t verify the results of an election in due course if Trump wins. I happen to believe that, by
November, the race will be very tight
and come down to the wire on the evening of the election. Biden may very well be re-elected.

Historically I believe there have been only two presidential elections where the winning party for the president did NOT carry the winning party for the House. That was for Chester A. Arthur (R) and Howard Taft (R) where the House went Dem.

Not saying the House won't flip Dem if Trump wins but it is unlikely and rare when it does happen.

No its not, when Republicans win the presidency they usually win the congress easily. Look at the 20 million votes they stole for Biden, and still lost the House.

order of importance

1) win presidency (obvious reasons)
2) win senate (judicial nominations)
3) win house

They will try to block him from being sworn in by invoking 14A Sec 3. If that fails, they’ll repeatedly impeach him. All while screaming that Trump is a “threat to democracy” and that he is creating a “constitutional crisis”.

It will happen just like it did after Trump was elected in 2020. Enough GOPe Main Street last retired in 2022 to give the House to the dems.

Stop voting uni-party, stop voting dem-lite, stop voting GOPe.

if that happens, then Democrats are just begging for a civil war in this country!
