The mom should be locked in a cell with no food or water until she is dead, dead, DEAD.

Why use taxpayer dollars to keep her alive? Rope is cheap and trees are everywhere. Hang this piece of shite and be done with it.

Don't even need to spend that much.

Lock her in a cell, bright lights on, and never bring her a drop of water or food. We save the cost of providing her food and water. There is no additional cost.

She will die in a week or so.

When people say a parent knows best or parental choice is most important... we have to remember that some parents are just truly awful people who do NOT want what is best for their child.

This was my first thought, but then I realized how horrible her life will be in jail as the baby killer.

I think people overestimate how much other inmates give a shite about the crimes the others have committed. They have no moral codes.

Nobody? How many people are there on earth? All are children to two others, not a very good argument there.

She needs to be executed by throwing her in a cell and starving her to death.

Once again, we have another example of our justice system being broken and out of step with human values. Every one knows what needs to be done here. But the system doesn't allow it for *reasons.* We are not better for showing mercy to these people. We are cowards.

There is nothing in the Eight Amendment that prohibits the death penalty in the form of hanging or firing squad in situations like this. Our legislative and judicial creations have established the idea that the perpetrator has to knowingly and directly commit the murder in cold blood and with aggravating factors in order to merit a death sentence. Intentionally leave a baby to starve to death? Not enough. Rape an infant? Not enough. Torture a baby? Not enough. Perpetrator gets to live on.

What the frick are we doing? Why do we have to pretend like this makes us better as a society or culture? It doesn't. It makes us weak and morally culpable not to extirpate these people from our earth.

Rewrite the murder statutes and overturn the case law. Amend the federal and state constitutions, if necessary. Justice demands it.

That has to be one of the worst things I’ve ever heard one person ever doing to another. A mother to her child makes that times 10. Truly horrible.

Imagine how often this kind of shite goes unnoticed. If by chance, the poor baby would have survived this, nobody would have ever known what this sick women did.

This is a good reminder of how often neglect goes unnoticed. It certainly helps explain why there are so many delinquents in the world.

I’d like to put her in a playpen then go on a trip around the world. That should be long enough!

Hopefully she gets shanked in prison. With something painful and she lingers for months.

I hope she spends eternity swimming in a lake of fire.

Wait. Isn't this just a late term abortion? My body my choice?

Bodily autonomy folks, listen up.

The child had no right to her body, right?

And before yall get all pissy, yes even the effort required to call someone/drop the kid off with someone falls under bodily Autonomy. You're demanding someone use their body in a way they don't want it to be used to sustain/care for another life.

If you disagree, you admit there is some line drawn with how far bodily autonomy gets you. It's not as simple as "my body, my choice".

You clearly do have responsibilities, especially parental responsibilities that society gets to demand you manage.

Should be beaten to the brink of death. Nursed back to health then beaten to the brink of death again.

Idk man, in this case I'm sure the prison she's going to is full of women that wish they could/could have spend more time with their children. Can't imagine she's going to be very popular where she's going.
