I have a few "worsts" on my list... In a holistic manner (ease of in/out, rental cars, accommodations, cleanliness,. etc) I'm sure I'm missing some, but my worst 3

Lubbock
Reagan
Newark

Haven’t been to Lubbock.
Been a while since Reagan.
Don’t mind Newark. But I was there for a getaway trip and the ease of getting to NYC by train was great.

I’m not a fan of
LAX (who is really?)
Eugene (dated and crowded, but easy)

Yup, if going out of C/D/E.

Easiest is to go to B and take the tram over to C.

No, holistically...

If you're simply going by rentals, MSY is the absolute worst. A 25 min bus ride to get to the rental car center is out of control.

Never rented at EWR or ORD, always Ubered.

EWR is just a shithole airport, old and outdated.

The one time I’ve been to Lubbock it was a breeze. 8 gates total and rental car was near immediate.

Haven't been there in prob 8yrs, but rental car was like a 300 yard walk, out doors, with no awning. The Check-in/security/airport process was basically the SouthPark episode with Shitty Wok Airlines.

Oh, just thought of one, although, might have opened the new terminal now, KC. What a terrible airport.

Frankfurt

Anyone who thinks ATL is bad has never flown through this gargantuan shithole. I've never had a transfer in Frankfurt that was under a mile walk.

Considering Atlanta is the busiest airport in the world they do a pretty good job . Better than Orlando for sure .

Same. I used to have some big accounts out there and would take a day trip from Dallas early in the morning and come back around dinner

It was amazing how quick you could get in and out. The only negative was food options are limited, but I was never there that long

I remember being at a meeting and it was 5pm and my flight was at 630. I was gonna leave and the guy said just wait till 5:30. Sure enough took 10 minutes to get there. Parked 100 yards from the front door with my rental car. Dropped the keys off, walked right through security and was at my gate at :55.

It was heaven. You can do much worse than Lubbock

I don't mind MCO. I've never had to pick up/drop off a rental.

I normally go to PBI, but MCO can be much cheaper. We are getting a stop on the Brightline high speed rail line, not far from my house. The train gets to Orla do faster than I can drive and it will drop me off in the airport.

No issues with MCO car rental process and from my experience, the people working at MCO > those working at ATL.

doesn't seem possible if you have checked bags. I've never gotten off the plane in ATL, collected my luggage, ridden the train, and then driven off in my rental car in less than an hour.

Yeah, I think this thread really emphasizes the fact that different travelers experience airports completely differently.

Check a bag or not
Rent a car or not
TSA Pre/Clear or not
