I actually agree with Bill Clinton’s stance on the 22nd amendment.

He’s right, people do live longer than when that amendment was put in place.

MAGA in 2028!!

Hell to the no.

Eta: We'd be getting ready for Barak's 3rd term if this were possible.

We need to limit these people with power, not give them more time

I’d prefer an amendment barring one from seeking federal office after the age of 65.

The English Civil wars and French and Russian revolutions offer some perspective here.

Limiting terms or amount of times one can serve = good.

Outright replacing the entire government and all institutional knowledge every single election = untenable chaos.

How about a single 6 year term, no reelections?

We have to think past just DJT when in comes to changing these rules. He'll be dead in a decade. Obama will likely not be. No thanks.

I think one 5 year term is enough. If you can’t get things done in 5 years you don’t need more time

Also it would be the end of the republic.

One of the few things that Confederate States of America did right was limiting the president to one 6 year term.

Nah because some like Obama and Biden would “fundamentally transform “ shite to stack the deck even more than it already has been. The Dems are SO corrupted by power…doing this just won’t end well for the USA.

IMO

2 terms house - 4 years total
1 term senate - 6 years total
2 terms president - 8 years total

That would be a reason I'd be against more than two terms, not a reason I'd be for it.

I think it should be one 6 year term. They spend the whole first term trying to get reelected. It’s bullshite
