Saw him in my front yard. I don’t remember ever seeing this species before. It’s a really good looking bird. What is it?

Google Lens says Eastern Bluebird.

They're everywhere around here.
We've got a dozen bluebird houses out for them around the property so they return every year. Plus we put a lot of seed out for them.

I have a male and female that have made a nest on my back patio for 3 years now. Research shows that their usually monogamous.

My shitty picture is a zoomed in iPhone picture. Obviously not a professional camera.

Used to see 'em all the time in SE LA. Never saw one in Central FL or in Katy.
Beautiful little birds.

Don't they eat mosquitoes like purple Martin's? If so, nice to have around.

If you are close enough to feed him, offer 4x cr2032 batteries for a snack. They like those best and usually need recharging every 6-12 months.

Thats the spy drone. The attack drones won't be far behind. RIP in peace OP. Do you have someone to scrub your browser history?

My field guide says bluebirds are retina scanners

Mosquitoes and flies .... they're relentless.
This is a farm with chickens, pigs and cattle ... we've got every kind of wild bird imaginable, native to the area, including a breeding pair of eagles on the big fish pond, but the blue birds have the most personalty by far except for maybe the hummingbirds.
Blue birds have family units. They're very territorial. They return to nest in their same houses every year.

They usually perch on fences and destroy bugs in the yard.
