Let me Mansplain. Yall are playing checkers while the world is playing chess. These businessmen are 10 steps ahead of MAGA.
You people were told tariffs would create jobs in America and were in fact, just a defacto tax for wrong think.
Markets adjust to central planning, which is why communism fails. The markets do what they do, and manufacturing is never coming back like you people want. When you have inefficiencies, markets adapt to fill them.
Y'all are chasing ghosts while the smarter people around you are profiting on your ghost chasing.

What part of "universal" don't you understand. He wants tariffs on "all imports" not just those from China.

Yes, the tariffs were so good for China that China fought against them tooth and nail. I also had forgotten about all the massive unemployment under Trump since you said that tariffs kill jobs. Thanks for explaining everything. You definitely make a lot of sense and don’t seem like a bitter TDS case.

Well on reddit i saw the opposite.
Now this was a report by two economists from ucla, so i have to believe there was bias in that reporting.
And when they lead off with , tax cuts for the rich... you know you are in for some frickery. Because im not rich and my taxes were cut.

Like I said it hilarious seeing idiots like Roger argue this when they’re using basic textbook principles. Economics is all about variables for models, this discussion is skimming and political

Maybe that's one of his lies that we're all supposed to realize is a lie? It's hard to keep track.

Maybe your economic arguments suck because of your bias…

MAGA in a nutshell
They treat trade like the gubment treats the war on drugs.
It appears the US governments trade and economic policy is a war on US consumers.

Roger I am not trying to flame throw with this post but I am going to be brutally honest. You really do not have a clue about economics or international trade. This is not about TDS which you are ate up with by the way. This is just flat out ignorance of world economy.

It’s a war with China. You’re ignorantly ignoring that.

I agree with the Tariffs but I also think that's what caused Covid to be released by China.
Posted on 3/11/24 at 10:00 am to Ray Ray Rodman
Yes sir! Covid was an attack back economically after harsh economic conditions on China. This is why China and WEF hates Trump. US was fricked before negotiations.

a Costly one, that was already decided.
China is doomed by its previous reproductive policies and were already showing cracks.

The last thing China wants is Trump back in office. I mean I cannot blame them as they were getting crushed. I truly believe they released covid to get Trump out.

How much is it costing us individually per year?
You cannot and will not tell us

the fact that it costs Americans anything should be enough.
"Alll taxes are bad" was used earlier in this thread.

One thing your buddy didn’t link about universal tariffs is that Trump wants to attack China around 60%. We will always have tariffs and levy the same around the world. America first is truly putting America first and consumers should appreciate that.
You did say you’re fine with China subsidizing our market in favor of cheaper goods. I think you should reconsider the effects that has. It’s also not a conservative value.
