Gone be a long season. Poor hitting against average pitching won't cut it. Ok if you copy the comment. I stand by it.

it's one bad game, only our second loss of the year. We need to calm down.

horrible game, but I'm not worried, we will be fine

Yeah, last year’s team lost some high scoring affairs and this year’s team will lose some games like this, it happens

Pitching did its job for a Sunday.

Exactly. You hold a team to two runs on a Sunday you should win 99% of the time.

Just because you stand by it doesn't make it any less stupid. You should run away from it instead.

Agreed. Nothing to worry about. Last year we literally lost Sunday games when we scored 10 runs. On the other hand we never lost a game only giving up 2 runs but that’s just the difference between last years team and this years.

I think there's a bit of " preseason " fatigue starting to creep in. Very lackluster effort.

1 run. Woof

1 unearned run.

This team can’t hit breaking pitches. Righties throw them under the hands of lefties, nothing. Versus righties, nothing. They chase balls off the plate like crazy.

I have a bad feeling this is the first bad thing to drop this week. WBB and Softball are both playing number 1’s. Baseball needs to get back to work and have a very short time to work through this.

Kling and Jones are automatic chasers as we’ve seen all weekend. White has been too aggressive. Frey looked good. I hope he is ok.

Oh don’t getting it confused, I don’t think anyone as earned an everyday start in the OF at this point. I was just responding to your point. I think it’s time for Larson and Frey to get more at bats, weather it’s for Pearson, Bingham, or Kling.

Missed the game today-
Was Hurd as good as his stat line (5 IP, 1 ER, 4H, 1BB, 9K)?

If he throws like that every Sunday (realizing that this is not exactly high-level competition still), we may have a case for the strongest staff in the country.

Sad the bats weren’t there today.

Opportunities were there to get more runs. Goes that way, sometimes.

To many casuals when Baseball is doing good (basketball too). Just gotta learn to ignore it. And when you do, give me some pointers

We lost to Xavier and Stony Brook? I guess we have no shot at Omaha now, better give me your hotel rooms.
