I actually disagree. I don't think it matters at all who Trump picks, but I think enough people are concerned with Biden's age that they could see the VP as likely to have to take over in the next 4 years.

If Biden doesn’t end up being the candidate, and the DNC slides Newsome in there, the blacks and SJWs are going to be livid that Kamala was leapfrogged for a white man.

Talk about a bind...they are better off with Biden living until November.

The Goblin Guide Klan will vote for the dementia patient that is Biden no matter what.

It’s honestly sickening. A dementia patient is up for reelection and is not be told to get the frick out by the Dems.

Wouldn't that apply to Trump who is all of 2 years younger? Not saying that it's enough to make you vote for Biden but if he chose someone way out in left (pun unintended) field, let's say Joe Manchin for example, it would at least make you pause and ask why?

It isn’t age that is an issue. It’s mental acuity. My pop is 86 and still performs surgery every day. And has a waiting list. Age isn’t the issue. Mental health is. You aren’t arguing Biden is all there mentally, are you?

I can’t think of any position that’s more meaningless than the vice president

Ppl already know who they’re voting for.

As long as Trump doesn't select Haley as his VP choice, my mind is certainly made up.

Pick warhawking Nimroda, and I'm out.

I should have stated my meaning better. I guess what I should have said is that it doesn't really matter who Biden picks, because whoever it is, they'll suck donkey testicles. At least the person Trump picks could be decent and carry on MAGA in 2028.

How does he get insurance. Most cut surgeons off at 70. They can still practice, just not in the OR.

I've watched Trump make more than his fair share of mental gaffs lately. I'm not wild about either candidate frankly, but I trust Biden's surrounding cast more than Trump's. Trump hasn't hired anyone of consequence yet that he hadn't later thrown under the bus and called failures except maybe for Stephen Miller, who's barely human. Makes it hard to believe that he's capable of building a working government if everyone he hires turns out to be incompetent.

I agree with you about Nimroda as far as Nimroda goes, but I'm curious about your logic here.

You're more concerned about Nimroda in the ceremonial VP's chair than you are pedo-Joe in the oval office?

And even if you consider the VP is a heartbeat away - Biden is far more likely to die over the next five years than Trump, and Harris is at least as bad as Nimroda.

A VP Candidate always matters especially when delivering a State, like Youngkin could with Virginia, or a constituency like Pence did with the Religious Right.

Big no on Youngkin.

The president is nothing but a puppet so if the VP has to step in nothing changes

Picking anyone with a taint of establishment will cost Trump votes. His best choice is the male Indian, period. All the other choices have no fight, no brains and support war, Ukraine funding forever and Wall Street.

I want Vivek or Sanders. Those two will do what’s right for America. I’m tired of sending all of our money to other countries. Secure our border and start paying down the debt. Strengthen our national defense, trim the fat for any necessary agency and close those not needed that have redundant responsibilities.

List the gaffes and we’ll list Biden’s. Yesterday he said he was told to not answer any questions. Never has had to face a conservative for an interview. He is completely shielded by his staff and media. We’ve put up with this for 3 years. I knew when he got elected it was going to be bad but didn’t think he would go down this fast. Look at his speeches 4 years ago and compare to how he talks today. I won’t even get into his policies. If he goes in again they will flood the country more than they are now with illegals and we will no longer be a country.

Trump would be essentially signing his death warrant if he wins and Haley is his VP. The MIC would stop at nothing to get Trump into international war or take him out and install Haley, who would do so in his stead.

GWB was goaded into a conflict that is still ongoing almost 25 years later, the last time a fully MIC-owned VP was on the roster. Haley is every bit as bad as Cheney- and maybe worse.

I will have no part in that. My logic at that point would be to choose no evils over the barely lesser of evils.

I wouldn't want any 86 year old as president no matter how awesome his kid says he is. Sorry. If nothing else, he doesn't have much of a personal stake in how things are going to go a decade or two from now.
