Cinemax used to have shows like that after midnight. Kinky.

brings new meaning to the marital vow "in sickness and in health."

Honestly, you have no idea what vows they made or didn't make when they were married.

That's true love, baws.
Those two are angels. May God heap bundles of blessings on them.

But the news story I referenced mentioned "the marital vow 'in sickness and in health.'" That one is a vow to remain married until death.

This is an example of why I lament the move from text to video that we've seen for the internet and for news. CBS can dress this up with nice "soft focus" photographs and pensive-sounding string music, but if you just read the story and do your own analysis this is the terrible story of a harlot. I can assure you that if that happened to me my wife would not put me in a home and then shack up with some other fricking man.

Are they named his beneficiaries by any chance?

I feel like the second guy has a lot of pain in his story somewhere.
People that good are often either closet narcissists (which he clearly isn’t), or they have low self-worth - usually from some kind of childhood trauma.

Am I the only one that would be weirded out by dating and marrying a girl with the catch being that I’d have to take care of her cripple ex husband? Seems like a strange request and relationship. Didn’t shed a tear at all

This is why you don’t marry a divorced woman or a woman with kids.
There are guys at work who complain about their wife’s ex-husband and/or the father of one of her kids all the time.
It’s not like this situation didn’t appear out of nowhere before you got married so stop complaining about it every day.
