I would be pissed the F off if I thought I was moving to a retirement community and after living there for a few years.... they now allow families with kids, teenagers and and allow adults under the retirement age to move and live there. That's some bullshite if you ask me.

Old people like being around young people

They're probably not as pissed (or as retarded) as you

I haven't met many old people who dislike kids.

Most just want the amenities of a retirement community, along with a decent amount of people their age.

The villages is like 200,000 people isn’t it? It’s massive. At some point when you have that many retirees you have to have a large support system.

Eta: so it’s about 80,000. But I’m sure the entire area is larger also.

The Villages city board is smart enough to figure out that the retirees will eventually die off

I think they're just trying to drive down the STD numbers by bringing in fresh blood.

The high school is for the kids of the workers that work at the villages.

Those rich old men are probably sick of fricking Gilfs and want some MILFS.

A good friend and colleague of mine lives on the Villages. Too crowded for my taste, but super nice place.

No one asked you and I am sure the old folks welcome some youth.

If they would have moved to Del Boca Vista they wouldn't have had this issue.

There has been a high school there for years and years. As someone else already stated, it is for the kids of the workers, kids still cannot live in the community itself.

I was just there visiting. That school is amazing. It is for the children of the people that work in and around The Villages.
