Why aren’t the chicken fingers at Cane’s seasoned at all?

Sauce is good, toast is good, and the sweet tea is great. Being from Mobile, I’m a big Foosackly’s fan (a Cane’s ripoff with better chicken and more sauce options) so I’ll say I might be biased, but why can’t Cane’s put out some chicken with actual flavor besides the sauce that goes on it? I feel like I’m missing something with all the hype.

Too small to fit any seasoning on them?

Imagine how expensive they'd be if they had any

I like it, but on a frugal budget, I think I ordered Canes once in the last 12 months.

I drove to try Cane’s when one opened in North ATL area. Haven’t been back.

These are the questions that need answers. What is Todd thinking not having a spicy option that they're always out of???
Pull up for your order.

Foosacklys buffalo sauced tenders are awesome

This issue alone is why Krispy Krunchy tenders beat the shite out of Canes.

Foos is a lot cheaper too. It also has a nice salad.

Because chicken fingers are kid’s food. Kids don’t like or care about seasoned things

They are almost inedible without the sauce.
Maybe a marketing ploy to make you buy extra sauce??

A better question is why Popeyes tenders are so dry and nasty

Cane's has been dong the same ONE thing for 30 years now. It works for them and their customers. Todd isn't ever going to change that.

yeah but they marinate their chicken fingers for 24 hours..........in what i assume is just plain water.
I don't understand why they dont' season them at all either. Without the sauce they are terrible.

They are marinated in salt and msg. The flour has poultry seasoning, salt, and something else if I remember correctly.
Posted on 2/28/24 at 8:39 pm to _Hurricane_
It's done that way because the sauce is the seasoning.

Place is so overrated but every time I drive by one it’s full. I don’t understand it. Other than the service it’s nothing special

For those that have an off the hook in your area, the tenders are at least 3x bigger, fries, hush puppies, sauce - much better ,cheaper
