Seems sort of swampy and GOPe to me.

Aren’t they broke because of their lil Ronnie and neverTrump factions?

Seems good that Trump would want to get it back on track

How Establishment of Trump. My sauces tell me that Haberman and Swan are writing a book about the Trump Campaign-which is notorious for giving access, so I’m thinking that the story is legit.f

Let me get this straight. Trump brings in his own people, swamp.

Any other Republican would be keeping the swampy republicans around. Not swamp.

Can’t win

Trying to erode Trump’s support on this Board -or trying to change minds on this Board is a lost cause.

oh, I know. Total cognitive dissonance. Just curious what you're hoping to achieve. Want people to vote for Haley? Want people to be objective and hold Trump to some standard?

What's the point of this thread? Are you hoping to erode support for DJT? To what end?

The answer is that he wants Trump to lose in the general. He'll never admit that out loud. But, a significant number of the Desantis supporters were really just NeverTrumpers.

Especially someone with the enormous legal bills he’s facing. If any other Republican had done something like this, the outrage here would be through the roof.

Calm down. Lara is just being recommended as co-chair. You will have your guy Michael Whatley that should satiate your establishment desires. If Whatley can't do it then maybe you are in the wrong party. Maybe the DNC is more your style.

Most are trying to hold Trump to a standard.

For instance, if he would realize we are 34Trillion in debt and say he was going to do something about it, he would get many more votes.

Nepotism aside, I think she does very well on TV. Better than his son's IMO.

Yep. I’m calling out the hypocrisy of his voters who support this purely selfish move. The same people who for years have been complaining about the GOPe, all have amneisa now, and think that it’s totally fine that someone is turning the Party into a family business and personal fiefdom.

He’ll sell his endorsements-the price being whomever pledges unquestioning loyalty to him. He’s going to build a Party totally dedicated to Trump and the Trump brand. There will be no room for debate, and he’ll hear only from Yes Men. That’s a recipe for disaster.

He's run out of fools who'll break the rules/law for him, and never question his decisions. They're called lackeys.

Steve Bannon and Tucker didn’t tell them, so how could anyone expect them to know?

You don’t understand, this never happened. The Trump Team is opposed to talking to the mainstream media, and actually strongly disputed the account of Trump ever speaking to Haberman.
That’s why these same Trump followers who deny that it’s ever happened are so qualified to speak on politics. They know so much.
And don’t forget how it’s totally untrue that Trump is going to nominate his daughter in law to co chair the Party. That is never, ever going to happen.
As a matter of fact, Taylor Swift is going to write a song about it.
