Gavin Newsome: Shining beacon of turds in San Francisco!
Killary Klinton: It’s her turn! …Again!
Michelle Obama: Barack presidential term #4!
Bernie Sanders: Professional Thief!

I don’t think Hillary, Michelle, or Bernie are serious options.

I also think we give them way too much credit for their political machinations. They are more likely to frick it up than they are to have some master plan.

Newsome is possible, but I think the most likely choice is Kamala. Have a hard time seeing the DNC tossing a black woman incumbent off the ticket and still keep their voting base together.

It has to be Kamala. They painted themselves into a corner. No way they replace a black woman who is next in line with Newsom or Killary

They really don’t have anyone sane that can excite the independents.

Their only hope is the rabid progstains get inspired to vote against Trump again.

They really don’t have anyone inspirational.

The hardcore will vote for whoever.

They could roll trump out there and they would be gaslit into voting blue.

You could have stopped there.

She couldn’t get her 2020 Presidential Campaign off the ground because she is such a terrible candidate.

Biden would be better to stay in vs Kamala being the nominee.

It’s gonna be Newsom because he’s good lookin’. That’s literally what the explanation boils down to for a surprisingly good many people. Including some completely convinced folks here among us.

His boyish good looks and his rad west coast words and ways will overshadow the literal video evidence of his blatant hypocrisy and bad judgment, don’t worry.

As for my real answer, Biden’s the best they got, under the particular circumstances of this stage in American electoral history. That being the case, it would be a customary Democrat move to push him aside. Who the second “best” candidate they would have available, that’s too pathetic for me to even think about.

Dreamy McMompants, community organizer and destroyer of worlds, will make the call on a establishment-safe empty suit (or pantsuit) and the Democrats will fall into line like proper little Progbots. He has probably already informed Biden that he is out.

So your theory is that the DNC will jettison Biden due to a lack of electability against Trump and replace him with a woman who is far less electable than he is?

No one likes Kamala. She would be the least popular candidate in modern American history.

-Blacks think she’s fake
-Women think she slept her way to the top
-She has the communication skills of KJP

She would lose in a landslide and put states like VA, NH and even MN into play.

I don’t disagree. I still don’t see them ditching her without some sort of major scandal.

Gotta feel like this is 1968 again for them. Have they learned the Hubert Humphrey lesson or not…

So it’s Newsome in the Bobby Kennedy role and Kamala as HH. Those are the options

A red state governor like Brashear in Kentucky would be a good option for them but he doesn’t check the right boxes.

Yes—if they in fact get rid of Biden. I’m not convinced of that, and I don’t want them to. I just don’t think they can toss her overboard with their voting base, and she can’t run with Newsome as she’ll likely need those 53 EV’s to be re-elected VPOTUS.

They've been steamrolling Republicans for the last 30 years. Unfortunately, they're doing something right.

Media. Outside of Obama, their candidate selection has been dogshit since 1992, and before that, going back even further.
