Any tips? I'm very nervous.

Just picture your interviewer as Joe Biden

Leave early as to have time in case there is an accident or traffic.

Have a few drinks before you go to calm the nerves.

Best advice I EVER got was don't tell them what you don't know.

Walk in, immediately kick over the nearest trash can, and tell them there's a new sheriff in town.

Be early. Be confident. Give firm handshakes and look everyone in the eye. Be honest and don’t try to oversell yourself. You’ll be fine.

Get off of the internet and go get a good night's sleep.

Eye contact
Firm handshake
Smile and be personable
When it comes to talking business speak with conviction and self confidence.
Nobody wants to hire a stick in the mud or lazy arse that doesn’t know when it’s time to work. Show that you are relatable but can handle your shite when it’s time to get down to it.

What kind of job?
Posted on 2/8/24 at 7:53 pm to braves21
At the end if they ask if you have any questions, say “are there any reservations about me that I could possibly address right now?”
And drink a little beforehand. You’ll calm down

Practice responding to questions to yourself. If you have a friend or significant other that can sit across from you tonight and put you through some rounds, try it. May not do a ton, but at least you’ll have a little repetition under your belt.

Confidence.
Don’t slouch
Realize that you’re interviewer was in your shoes at least once.
Stop and think of the answer before blurting it out.
Omit the “uh’s, ya know’s, ok’s, etc.

Research the company and have some good questions prepared.
Don't bash any prior employers.
Think of it from their perspective and be able to frame how you are going to add value to their efforts, not just how this job will help advance your career.
If you want the job, tell them that directly after the interview. Literally say you think this job would be a great fit, you would love to be a part of the team, and ask them the timing on next steps.
Afterwards send an email to each person you met with thanking them for their time, following up on any hanging chads or questions, and mentioning that you look forward to hearing back.

Breathe man. You got this. Believe in yourself. If you don't know an answer say so but say I'll find out the answer.

Get there late, when he asks why tell him you were screwin' his old lady.
