Probably 10” of water in my backyard in Broadmoor.
The sky fricking fell nonstop for hours.

So what’s the point of this thread and why do you care so much about what goes on in New Orleans when you live 45 minutes away?

Good luck to all and prayers on the way.

The pumps are working just as they as designed to

Yep. These Nola noise threads are no longer amusing , just annoying

Living in a city depending upon govt run reliable maintenance and upkeep every time it rains is basically asking to live in a third world shut hole
And yet it used to be a fine place to live. We are devolving.

Chalmette isn’t even close to 45 minutes away from New Orleans.

How dare you contradict 08.

We had some solid street flooding in Old Metairie, but it’s been consistently raining since at least noon.

4 has been out for a while now, at least 2 months
Was suppose to be back up by end of January but it’s not. Lakeview is not a priority for the city despite the amount of property taxes that come out of the area

But unfortunately the pumps are designed to be powered by electricity. That's where the Turbine 4 failure (and limited redundant capacity) becomes a problem.

I believe SWB turned it off tonight due to mechanical failure. They claim they had EMDs and emergency pumps running in its place though.

Why are your panties so twisted?
Reality is the metro area goes as the city goes.

News reported T4 was running earlier today.

Broadmoor floating. All that water rushed down from uptown since they took the restricter plates off the storm pipes.
