Did someone say the entire route flooded?

Look, I don’t really have a dog in this fight. Just thought it was odd that you specifically asked him what part of the route flooded, he answered, and you say “so what?” like he wasn’t answering the question you just directly asked.

Yes. He insinuated the entire parade route flooded, 2 hours after the last float passed

quote:

The drains along the route were blocked. The blocks sit out there for the entire parade season. They were placed weeks ago. They will be picked up after Fat Tuesday. The guy who is in charge of the SWB said that contributed to the flooding along the parade route

LINK

Throw back article to 2018 when clogged catch basins were in the news and emergency contracts handed out to fix the problem.

Flash forward to 2024, the catch basins are still clogged and there is another yacht in St. croix named “Low Bid”

Youre exactly right

That has nothing to do with my point about the pumps did what they were designed to do

When and where did I say that? Please link that post where I said “the entire system worked as designed” This is the 4th time I’ve ask you to link where I said that. I have no idea what you’re talking about.

I dont know how to link to a certain post, but you posted in the second and third page of this exact thread.

Negative

Flooding on the parade route =/= the entire route flooded.

So what exactly is your argument and what exactly are you accusing me of with no proof?

Argument: you do t know wfat you are talking about:

Proof: your post history, specifically pages 2 and 3 of this thread.

I would say that you should be able to read, but I might be giving you too much credit

So I’m still confused

I read my post and still haven’t figured out what point or what your argument is about and obviously you can’t either.

Since you won't believe me, maybe you will believe the head of the SWB?

To be honest, he’s not particularly high on the list of people who I take statements from on face value without question.

SWB is notorious for pointing fingers with or without truth behind the assertions

Could it have altered the outcomes? Certainly. Did it materially? I really don’t know and I don’t trust him to tell me. Which is a major issue in and of itself.
