Chip Kelly desperate to get out of LA

UCLA Head Coach Chip Kelly reportedly “wants out” of UCLA per @JesseReSimonton Kelly has showed interest in NFL Offensive Coordinator jobs, and he even showed interest in Iowa’s OC job… Meaning Kelly wants OUT, even if it means downgrading at the CFB level. UCLA and Kelly are in their final days, but Kelly leaving now would be disastrous for UCLA this late in the offseason. UCLA’s situation could go from bad to worse soon, not to mention they join the Big Ten next season.

I hope he leaves, and UCLA is left at the altar. Should be a rent a win in Death Valley next season.

If he’s really desperate he might as well try to get the BC job.

They’ll likely be better next year if Chip leaves and they hire Lynn back.

This is dumb. CFB needs a massive reset. These people have lost their minds.

I wonder why Kelly is so desperate to get the hell away from UCLA?

I wouldn't want to live in Cali either

Probably poor administrative support.

So why doesn’t he just step down? I’m guessing because he’d owe them the rest of his contract?

If Kelly leaves UCLA, they should go and hire Pete Carroll. Dn't know if he would be effective at all but it would be a big splash hire and an FU to their cross town rivals. That would be pure entertainment.

Carroll turns 73 at the start of the season, you can't sell that to recruits.

He's on the hot seat, already wasn't a recruiter in the Oregon days so no way he likes it now, UCLA moving to be 9th or 10th in the Big Ten.

Yikes. I don't blame him for wanting to leave that liberal hell hole though.

He was the HC at Oregon, and at Philly. I don’t think he cares about the politics

Talking politics. Hilarious. All of you have been so easily fooled. Both sides play for the same global team. The joke is on all of you. Unfortunately all of you will be finding out sooner than later. If only all of you had the will to think on your own.

You are unhinged my man. He wants out of the hell hole known as college football now.

It doesn't really work like that. Who would sign a contract where you could owe a school money for voluntarily stepping down?

First of all, he has to make sure he gets an OC job in the NFL first before announcing his resignation at UCLA.
