I think y'all are way overthinking this. NOF is pretty much a start-up. Underhill has to make money for himself. Triplett with his experience certainly isn't cheap. It would shocking if they actually turn a profit at this point. They can only pay so much for everyone else, and given her abilities, Brooke probably got an offer from a more established media group that could pay her more than NOF could. This is the most logical explanation.

you think its merely a coincidence Underhill continued to break saints news even when he was in Boston as a Pats beat writer?
Its fairly common place in that industry to trade info for softball coverage, not sure why you find that laughable.

do they own Culotta's show or is that a partnership?
Idk what the business deal is. But NOF has taken the Culotta show under their account on YouTube

Nick was acting like Ted Turner on his Hold The Mayo interview

Nick is salty AF about it. No tweet about it. No acknowledgement at the start of a show, or heartfelt thank you.
He mentions it for twenty seconds 25min into a random offseason podcast. Even if there is more to it, totally unprofessional. Who would want to work for that dude

Yeah, this is the suspect part. He couldn't shout it from the rooftops loud enough when they hired her. Gave her tons of credit on social media when they started the video shows.
I didn't watch/listen to the pod, so I had no idea she had left until this thread. He's usually all over X/Twitter with shite like this.

seems like an odd move for him but never heard the ins and outs of the deal.

They want to cross contaminate viewers from each show

I think this is the main reason I’ve started to not like Nick. At all. And I was one of the first to sign up for his website when he came back from New England. Between this and several pissy bitch fits he threw at random people on Twitter for “taking his videos without his permission or crediting him” despite these being normal people and not media, it just leaves me with the impression of someone who thinks his shite doesn’t stink, which isn’t exactly attractive as far as wanting to work with him.
He’s kind of an arrogant douchebag. A lot of sports writers are, especially when they’re worshiped by neckbeards like Nick is but he wasn’t like that at first. Having a little bit of success changed him, as it does most. But he’s trying to turn NOF into a legitimate business but it doesn’t work when he acts completely unprofessional so, so many times.

This and it was kind of cringe. I like Brooke way more than Nick and think she’s great but he acted like he hired Erin Andrews or something

As much as I don’t like Nick, I’m still willing to bet they’re turning a profit. Between the sponsorships, some of them pretty legit, and the money from the website AND YouTube. He’s probably doing just fine. He wouldn’t have bought that new HQ if they couldn’t afford it tbh

He is probably making good money
Don't be surprised if Matt bowers is the money man behind it though

A couple things they discussed on their pods from the preseason stick in my brain. One was Brooke setting season long over/unders for several saints players for season goals such as catches, tds, ints, etc for certain ppayers. Nick went over on all of them.
The other thing was him saying halfway through the preseason that you can just tell by watching them practice, that this team is gonna be good.
Definitely not a homer at all

Triplett owns the CFA in algiers so Nick is paying him hardly anything. He left ESPN because he didn't need the money.
Nick bought a $550k house a block of magazine lol. Nick was on hold the mayo's show talking about owning 400 pairs of sneakers locked behind a fingerprint scanner. I can assure you he's doing fine. The whole thing is funded by Matt Bowers. The new "studio" is above Bowers' dealership on Vets.
He has 3 former employees now and not one got a thank you or goodbye tweet.

The guy seem like a bitch now. I never really followed him before but it seems like he got a little money and got a big head.
If he didn't have sources no one would fuch with him.
What does Triplett own? The cfa? I'm not familiar with that.
Am I going crazy, or does Underhill have knuckle tats now? I've honestly never subscribed to his shite but I'll check his Twitter once in awhile
