I’ve seen posts on here with people saying “Good he’s preparing for life after the NFL!” With his 10M signing bonus and making 5.4M a year, he’s not making generational wealth, but he and his immediate family will be set for life. He could retire at 32 or so and spend the rest of his life tending to his investments. I admire him for having a passion for helping others through a nursing career—something he WANTS to do. He sure as hell doesn’t HAVE to.

It'll also be great for patients. Imagine you get a national champion as your nurse.

Credit Clyde’s upbringing and how he was raised. His mother served in the Army and became a nurse. His biological father died when he was very young and his step-dad helped raise him. His youngest sister nearly died at birth and has muscular dystrophy. What he experienced growing up made him who he is today.

There was a really good post recently about CEH’s mom from a poster that had an interaction with her during his daughter’s hospital stay. Can’t remember the poster, but it was a true cool story bro.

Where do you see this? Including his signing bonus, his total career NFL earnings are $10,945,701. His signing bonus was $5.4mil of that.

he makes like 1 mill a year plus the 5 million signing bonus

that being said it would take a nurse like in a high paying state 80 years to make that kind of money.

Nurse seems like too ahitty a job to do if you have like 5 million in the bank

At his age, he can easily turn that into generational wealth. He has made more by age 25 than most married couples earn in their productive careers and this does not count money made outside of his Chiefs contract, endorsements, etc.

Your numbers are a little off. He signed a 4 year 10.8 million dollar contract. He made 2 million this year. The Chiefs didn’t exercise his 5th year option mainly because he hasn’t been able to stay healthy.

That being said he clears 5 million after taxes agent fees etc. He has made more money in 4 years than most will make in a lifetime.
