Zero chance. Patrick is even more based than Abbott.

Clearly you don’t know Dan Patrick.

KJP was just asked to clarify …
“Supreme Court responded on Tuesday, outlining the access Border Patrol patrol needs—including at Shelby Park— to do their job. What we’re saying is Governor Abbott is getting in the way. You’ve heard me say this over and over again they’re making it harder and harder for Border Patrol to do their job. They need access, and they need access right now. It’s under the Constitution of the United States. Federal law is the supreme law of the land and any conflicting state is preempted that law. Right now he is getting in the way ….”

This is a legislative issue
She's right. And we have legislation that covers immigration. Unfortunately, the Executive Branch is ordering the bureaucracy to ignore and circumvent the legislation.

Border Patrol needs to step up and do what’s right, i.e., refuse to cut the wire.

Why the frick would Abbott even think about leaving TX at this time?
I was wondering same. Not a good look, especially if the situation gets out of control.

Getting in the way is Biden’s agenda and stopping the flow…

”I will say it’s a shame. It’s shameful that politics has been played here. Political stunts are being done here as we’re trying to deal with an issue that Americans really care about, and all we are asking for is border patrol to have access to an area so that they can enforce the law that’s what they’re trying to do trying to do their job to enforce the law that’s what agents are meant to do. And that’s what they’re trying to do, and you have politics being played and you have a governor getting in the way of that. So it is shameful that we continue to see these political stunts, and we continue to see these political games. It is not safe, it does not help solve the problem. It does not help solve the issue.”
Asked how Biden and DoJ specifically are going to respond ….
”People, I’m not gonna get into the future and how things are gonna turn out. What I can speak to is what we’re trying to do right now—to deal with the challenges, to deal with a broken immigration system. That’s what I can speak to
The President has asked for 2000 border agents and law-enforcement officers to install new drug detention and technology, to stop fentanyl from coming into into the country—going into communities, more immigration judges, and asylum officers. That’s what he asked for. That’s what he wants to say.
If you think about it this way … more than three years ago, the president on his first day, put forward comprehensive immigration legislation and put it forward toward to Congress. If Congress had taken action years ago we wouldn’t hav3 the conversations we are today.
All I’ll say is I’m not gonna speculate on any actions. I’m just not. I’m just not gonna do that. It is very clear, and I would remind everyone that the circumstances under which the federal government can mobilize states and national guard are outlined in the law. So that I’ll leave that there, but I am just not going to get into speculations on any action to take at this time.
We have a Republican governor that is playing political stunts and continues to do that and puts agents in harms way and is preventing them from doing their job. We’re gonna call that out. Border patrol agents need to get to the area to do their job, so if you think about asking about our legal authority, the governor is literally getting in the way of patrol agents to do their jobs. That’s a problem and that’s something for him to answer. I gotta go to a meeting. Have a great Friday.”

Tells you this is all nothing more than a glorified photo - op. Dan Patrick(Goeb) gets to look tough. Abbot knows this is going nowhere.
He used to be a sportscaster and had an evening show on KSEV called "The AM Egos" along with the main sports guy at the Chronicle.....they used to lash Tom Penders mercilessly .

This is just bizarre by the WH. Especially during an election year.
"Oh you won't let us open the border? Guess we'll just raise prices on everything. That'll show you!"

Is there a live feed that we can watch over the weekend to see if "confrontation" starts?

The Biden WH has been kissing up to the environmental Nazis lately, so this is win win in their eyes. They frick Texas and get green cred at the same time.

Eventually the left runs out of plausible deniability and their true nature is revealed. The question is do enough people realize it and revolt before it’s too late.

If this isn’t impeachment worthy what the frick is???

Wait until Monday when the convoy gets there. Wonder if Biden will try to pull a Trudeau. I don’t think anything happens there until at least then.
