If you don't get the reference, that means that you don't follow football and are not a red-blooded American and are a beta cluck.

I quit following football because of their recent propensity toward wokeism and anti-Americanism. Two fricking national anthems at the Super Bowl? Go ahead and support that.

I have zero clue what your reference is, and I do not care to know or even ask. Fight me.

To be fair, none of these terms mean anything anymore BECAUSE of liberals.

Case in point:

quote:

"hate America,"
vs. Nationalism. Right you are pointing to this? Nationalism is just wanting groupthink based on geographic area.

Liberals DEFINITELY want group think, it just isn't oriented towards an area.

Fascists want to enforce groupthink. Period. That's at the core of modern Liberalism, enforcing groupthink, government mandated groupthink. Nationalism or not. But Liberals generally write definitions - so this is what you get. Politicized definitions that duck the real idea.

Eh, we fought on the same side as the commies too, and for longer. Generally, fascists fought against communists in most cases.

Ehhhhh, that’s the point, it’s not uncommon for opposing ideologies to combine forces for self preservation.

Fascism and communism aren't that much different. Ignorant people think that since communists and fascists fought against each other in WW2 that they're opposites, but that isn't the case.

Because according to the definition of "fascism" that most people our age learned in school, they are. The differentiating characteristic of fascism is that the government does not own, but controls the means of production. The most fascist government action in my lifetime according to that definition was Obamacare.

The left has appropriated and coopted the word—like many others—and uses it now to describe authoritarianism apart from its economic system aspects.

The problem with doing that is that any government can be authoritarian, regardless of the economic system in play.

A capitalist country can be governed by an authoritarian government. So can a socialist one. So can a fascist one. And all of those have happened in history.

But only one type of system features government controlling but not owning the means of production.

So it's just dumbing things down and eroding language and losing nuance. Seems like our culture only goes in that one direction.

I’ll actually agree with you that this recent version of authoritarian rule by the left doesn’t fit the classical definition of fascism as it’s not backed behind a nationalist movement. It also doesn’t quite fit communism as the govt isn’t seizing industry.

It’s a Progressive Fascism that has replace nationalism with DEI as its base and climate change as its religion. The remaining attributes…oppression of free speech, elimination of political adversaries, rigging elections to stay in power, attempting to disarm the population, a one party state capturing industry through regulation and oversight, military interventionalism…all fit.

Just from the title of your thread shows you're one of the morons that doesn't know what fascism is.

did they stick "far right" in that definition recently or has it always been there? fascism is tricky and totally bipartisan IMO. just curious if they're doctoring that definition too. Nationalism somehow went from an admirable quality to "extremism" in a couple months.

The left controls the narrative, Hollywood and social media. That eroded a bit with Elon.

But they have been doing this for a while. They always point to the rt or the Republican guy as the Nazi or fascist in media and entertainment. It then gets ingrained into society believing that.

Again, liberals are just good people with ideas that generally bad. Sometimes they pop out a good idea, but that’s not the norm. However, because of those rare hood ideas, it is a good call to have an open dialogue with liberals, and not kick them to the curb.

Leftists progressives, however, can eat two heaping scoops of shite.

They are goose-steppers hell bent on destroying western civilization.

The people running the Democratic Party, however, are communazis.

People like you and low-t support them. Y’all have gone so far to the left, that even liberals are viewed negatively by you goose-steppers.
Hell, y’all are now referring to people like Bill Maher, Jimmy adore, and Russell Brand as “right wingers.”

In short, y’all are insane.

Here is what the “leadership” of the Democratic Party has become (and what you seemingly support):

You are incorrect and the definitions definitions describing them by modern means are incorrect. Fascism puts the needs of the state ahead of the needs of the people, meaning if the state needs resources then you simply do what is necessary to take them from others. It has nothing to do with “past wrongs” or “extreme patriotism”. It is diametrically opposed to communism because communism at its core puts the needs of the people ahead of the state. Hence, Hitler’s violent opposition against Bolshevism. The citizens are merely a means to an end in fascism and are expendable.
