The company I work for is growing. Can’t find enough quality people.

Same here, customers are screaming and we can’t build product fast enough.

Depends what you work in at our company. We’re hiring manufacturing positions like crazy, and can’t get enough.

Unemployment is at record lows.
The US Government loves useful idiots like yourself. They just float you a lowball percentage of their ever changing definition of who is is the workforce and you lap it up.
Have you ever asked if 96% of the workforce is employed and of US Treasuries take in record taxes annually why our debt continues to spiral past $34Trillion?

That could be true, and they’re just being ruthless to squeeze out more profits. But it probably means “Yeah, we foresee turbulence coming, so we’re going to get in front of it and cut costs Now.”

Where? I have a couple of sons that need to change it up from their current jobs.

Nope. My company has never had a single layoff in our 74 years of existence. Now furloughs are a different story.

In New Orleans? Check intralox, boeing, NASA, Textron systems, American sugar refinery, Bollnger, Valero, etc.
All places I know of hiring manufacturing positions and I’m sure there’s a bunch more I’m not thinking of.

Average salary at our company is probably about $100,000 and we have a hard time finding folks.
