The softest and most coddled athletes on the face of this planet are in the NBA.

If they don’t want to give 100% throughout most of the season… they don’t have to. If anything, in todays NBA, they’re almost encouraged to quit when they don’t feel like playing hard.

NBA also talking about making the draft into a 2 day event. A round each day.
Everything about the NBA just gets worse and worse, but here I am…

I miss being into pro basketball.

I’ll periodically give it a shot, then turn it off 5 minutes later. Absolutely brutal watch.

Know lots of younger, 20 somethings who are really into it, however.

So not all things are for all people, I suppose.

You forgot every other shot is an uncontested dunk.

Basketball is terrible. Should only be played one month and one week per year, including practice. And advertisement outside that timeframe should be outlawed.

It amazes me how people claim “no defense” in the NBA, yet countless college stars go to the NBA every single year and struggle. If there was no defense, they’d be lighting it up like they are playing in China.

The Mavs played without Luka last night and beat the Knicks 128-124. Kyrie had 44 points & 10 assists. Tim Hardaway Jr had 32 points. Josh Green had 18 & Grant Williams had 11. The Mavs made 17 three point shots.

With no Luka or Dereck Lively II, and the Knicks on a five game winning streak, I was worried.

The Mavs had a 44-26 lead at the end of the 1st quarter. They blew a 20 point lead when NY went on a 2nd half run, but the Mavs held them off.

Bally Sports highlights

It was a fun game to watch.
