If you need to lose weight, you've got to put your mind to it and do it.
Cut out overeating and snacking all the time. Drinking black coffee helps.
I had to lose around 45 pounds about 3 years ago and I did it, now I'm pretty much where I need to be.

My uncle is about 6' tall and weighs probably 325 LBS., he came by Christmas Eve and couldn't get up off of my couch.
I literally had to pull him upright.
He was embarrassed about it, but I know his habits. He never stops eating from the time he wakes up, until he goes to bed. Pizza, sandwiches, wings, chips. Never stops.
I had to get onto him about it, hopefully he listens.

The thought that while I could stand to lose 5-10 lbs, I also want to gain 5-10 lbs of muscle.

I was 170 in ‘95 when graduating HS and now 177.

You have to make your health a priority. I used to use the work excuse a lot myself.

I literally get home at 4:30 and go to bed at 6.

I’m not obese but I’m not 110 like I used to be.

What no one on the OT Baller forum wants to say, but money. To get higher quality foods with good protein to calories ratios that don't taste like dog food....well, that stuff costs a pretty penny. Good beef, steaks, fish, etc....all is astronomically high and sometimes it's just easier to hand Taco Bell a $10 bill. Edit: apparently I shop wrong too

Chicken thighs, pork chops, ground beef, etc, etc, can all be had for a few bucks per serving. Rices and pastas are cheap. Most spices are cheap. While it might be easier to hand money to Taco Bell, that’s an effort decision, not a financial one. But, if I were guessing, you don’t feel comfortable cooking, and the only meals you do know how to prep are expensive protein focussed dishes. Nothing wrong with that, just need to embrace a new area of knowledge

you were 110? Are you a woman?

I weigh 180 and everyone thinks I;m too thin. If I weighed 110 I'd be dead.
