Oh also men can create kids until they aren't double barreling anymore.
Men 1 Women 0

I get the making fun of all the variations of "love to travel and see new parts of the world" but should leave the content to that level

It seems to be mostly mid-30s+ professional NYC area women. No real shockers in there.

I think this is a jerk move on his part. Maybe no one ever asked them to marry.

My sister had her youngest son at 42. Not that uncommon. And she’s pretty hot, but a fricking liberal. I’d bang her and leave her.

Geriatric? Yeah, that's what a pregnancy after the age of 35 is called.
My wife’s best friend had an unexpected pregnancy at 36 and she called my wife in tears when they referred her to a geriatric OBGYN.
She was married at 22 and had her first at 24.
I read the whole thread. He’s not MGTOWing either.
He’s simply pointing out that these women are well past their prime child rearing years and looking for children someday.
I’m 40, in decent shape and make $100,000+. Also been married 20 years with a 17 yo and 15 yo.
If I found myself divorced or widowed, I’d probably the the type of person they’re looking for, if only on paper. I however would not be interested in leading somebody along that wants to have children at my age with somebody their age.
I’m sure they would be ok with a younger man but a dude in their late 20s early 30s that wants to have kids isn’t looking for the cougar to have their children. A single guy my age with that income is going to look for a girl in their late 20s or early 30s if they want babies.

They are all mostly good looking >6 women with decent careers.
If nobody asked them to marry, they were dating a dream man that was never going to marry them or passed up on stable 5-7s in search of something better that didn’t come along.
ETA: I’m not a MGTOW guy. I got married young and think most people would be better off doing the same. I just think women looking for children at 37+ were sold a false dream.

Sounds awful. I’ll be 41 when my oldest graduates and 43 when my youngest does. Not saying that’s for everyone.
I enjoy being able to play basketball and lift weights with them at my age.

quote:Just as an additional bit of info, Scruffy looked up the actual success rate of IVF, and it isn’t exactly wonderful either.
They may have eggs frozen
I can see that being common from educated professionals in urban areas
Forbes has an article on this, and the success rate declines with age as well.
Under age 35 44.5%
Ages 35-37 32.4%
Ages 38-40 20.2%
Ages 41-42 9.6%
Over age 42 2.9%
People go into this believing it is a perfect procedure.
This is simply the reality of biology, something we try to reject for some reason.

Yeah, that's what a pregnancy after the age of 35 is called. Damn, that's brutal.
But true clinically. Also brutal is that young women are not informed of this fact or the statistics. Perhaps different choices would be made. Unfair perhaps, but reality.

I do think having a “good” career makes a woman less attractive. Work changes you, and a career lawyer is going to be a lot less feminine for it.

Menopause average age in the US is 51, so she has time.
Also, you’re aware kids can be had by other means than the traditional way, right?

Now, most women have years before they hit menopause, but why would you want to take that risk?

It is not as pretty as people believe, especially once you hit 40.
