No shocker, bunch of morons here.

The game that matters is next week (and the subsequent games should they win), so getting hurt in that game would have at least had purpose.

So congrats the Lions won a meaningless game today and didn’t move seeds.

Let’s see how they do without their star TE (realistically the 2nd best WR) for the remainder of the postseason, potentially their good returner as well.

I’ve enjoyed the Lions team tbf, out of the NFC teams I’d most like to see them make the super bowl. Unfortunately this game today did nothing but hurt their chances.

Well, damn, maybe the NFL should have swapped the Lions and Cowboys game yesterday afternoon then.

Shame as he really had defeated that stereotype after a couple years
He reminded us of what he is after going for 2 from the 7 all because he he told the guys he’d do it 15 minutes prior

His constant going for it on 4th down has cost him some games, too.

I'm taking the Rams this weekend vs the Lions.

Is his team winning? Yes so shut the frick up. Dude completely turned the Lions franchise around and people look for a reason to shite on him.

Him and Goff should win for a while together in Detroit.

Playing all his starters in a meaningless game.

Completely idiotic decision. Lost his star TE for the rest of the year. Likely the kick returner as well.

Shame

Well you look like a dumbass now lol

He could very well play in the divisional round onward. Similar issue to kelce who played 2 weeks later and this is obviously more important and he’s a decade younger.

Chris Long had a stat on his podcast about the win % of teams who play their guys vs. sit their guys in the final weeks having already clinched, and it was drastically in favor of playing your guys.

Teams that sit their guys had like a 30% worse winning % in their next game.

DC says LaPorta has a chance to play against the Rams too.

Not trying to be insensitive, but unless you have Hester in his prime is this the biggest deal on the planet?

That's the thing...I like Kalif Raymond, but not sure who people thought were going to play all these snaps had they rested their "key players."

$hitty message to send to your players that some teammates are more valuable and some are more indispensable than others. Tends to screw up team chemistry and a locker room. The best coaches have all on the same playing field. Nobody is up on a pedestal. Injuries are a part of this game. You coach and you play to win. Campbell gets it. He played the game. Don’t underestimate the importance of team chemistry.

As a Saints fan I would take that “dumbass rah rah guy” any day of the week. Of course, anyone who refers to the HC who inexplicably won his division in Detroit which seemed impossible isn’t very bright about football anyway.

The dumbass decision was not kicking the extra point on the 8 yard line the week before against Dallas.

That not only cost them the 2nd seed it could have cost them the 1st since the 49ers would have had to play to win.

The Lions are ripe for the picking and it wouldn't surprise me if the Rams go in there and steal their lunch money
