Ive been critical of Kelly. This board should be way more critical of him than has been the case.
But I still cant believe LSU got him to replace O. He was the right hire.
Hes had a helluva week and if tomorrow goes well, it will be one of the better ones in recent memory.
Just win the games. Find a way.

Critical of him for what exactly?
Having a depleted roster when he became the coach yet still managing to win the SEC West?
Because he still managed to win 10 games the following season even though there were issues with the defensive coaching staff and players, yet as soon as the season was over he immediately fired said defensive coaching staff?
Hmm…. Seems like he’s doing better in his first two seasons than Ed O did. I mean, BK didn’t lose to frickIN TROY!!!!

Not hiring a DL coach when Lindsey fell ill, is mind boggling. This DL was not improving and it took giving up 59 to Ole Miss before he hired Jenkins. Why even have a DL coach on the payroll if you dont need 1?

What are the optics of hiring a D line coach when you have one that is on leave due to illness? We also had someone filling in for that position. Yeah, he turned out to not be great at it, but I understand why an immediate hire was not made.
