Ask for grilled onions and buns toasted on both sides for whatever burger you decide on. That's all I got. They're all over the place where I live but I go maybe once every 3 months.
They're breakfast on a bun sandwich is decent as well.

Everyone raved about Whataburger and when I tried it, I was really underwhelmed.
Its nothing special except for the patty melt and honey butter chicken biscuit, which are superb.

#2 with cheese. Lots of times I get it on Texas toast instead of the regular bun, so good that way.

The mushroom swiss they used to offer was my favorite fast food burger. Perfectly cooked patties and mushrooms, and that sauce was magical.
They took it off their menu a year or two ago and I haven't been back since.

Forgot about those. One of my coworkers used to get it with no meat and put honey butter on it

The next time you go through Vicksburg, Go across the road, behind the ChikfilA (However it is spelled) and eat at the Gumbo Pot. Good food, Fried Catfish, shrimp, oysters, gumbo (Duh) and stuff like that. They have good burgers too.

That used to be my order, but lately I just get the double with cheese. That is filling enough. Like all fast food places, quality can vary, but the one I typically go to is pretty solid.
I haven't tried it on Texas toast yet. Sounds good.
Compared to 5 guys or BurgerFi, Whataburger is a notch below. Compared to Burger King, McDonalds, and Wendys, to me it's a notch above.

And the spicy ketchup is the shite.

Honey butter chicken biscuit off the breakfast menu
Cinnamon roll is really solid
Their burgers are good for fast food, but nothing to write home about.

They're starting to get like Dairy Queens where theres no consistency in the quality from location to location. But man, when you come across a good one you get reminded where the hype comes from.

I've never had Whataburger
Never been to Sonic or any other generic fast food joint?
Whataburger is nothing special at all.

Sausage, egg, and cheese on this biscuit is a great hangover cure.
