Grow up and quit acting like a thug on every play especially when it went for 25 yards and you made a tackle you were supposed make. Then he starts acting like a dam chicken with his head cut off.

Good to have experienced backups, but let's be honest, if he's seeing major PT next year we are trouble. Big trouble.

This is such bullshite. This is the kind of post that shows you don’t pay attention.

Just because he doesn’t play 22 freshmen doesn’t mean he forced upperclassmen at the expense of the team.

Campbell
Jones
Perkins
Taylor
Jackson
Multiple young DBs this year
Freshmen TEs payed this year
Heard played a lot even though he wasn’t (and shouldn’t have been) a starter.

What younger guy should have played this year as opposed to older ones? The only possible argument is Weeks, but he played a lot and no one here knows if he was ready to be the one calling the defense.

Burns was the best player in the secondary. A safety shouldn’t have to. E making the tackles that were missed in the first and second levels

I’d argue that even though he’s listed as a LB, Perkins was the best player in the secondary this year.

Also take that damn neck roll off.

He wears it because he’s had a couple head/neck injuries

He has at least flashed a little bit but not enough to be over the moon. That said experience can’t hurt. Maybe he’ll progress a little more in a new scheme with better coaching.

And yes please save the trash talk and showboating for actually making plays.

He has some ability. Always seems to be near the ball.

I think better coaching and a better system will benefit him.

This is my hope, as well.

Look, having Burns gives you invaluable experience and maybe the new coaching staff can get more out of him.

I really want to see more of Ryan Yaites going forward.

This has been a theme with our D since the waning O years. Line will get stomped all the way down field, then make 1 stop on 1st down in the red zone and start beating their chests. Dumb shite

Anyone can get better. Let's hope we see that out of Burns b/c we know we need improvement on tackling and diagnosing plays quicker.

Do we really have anyone taking his spot as of now? no, unfortunately

Can only get better hopefully. Not gotta trash on a player for wanting to come back and develop, in this age of CFB.

Glad he’s back. He will be an asset to the special teams and a good backup.

Hopefully he gets his PHD (playa hater degree) because he's got no future in football but he sure knows how to talk that shite.
