If he is starting again I'm going to be pissed. He seems like a really nice young man but alway flexing after tackle 10-20yds down the field and to many missed tackles. Smh

Also take that damn neck roll off.

Burns was all over the field vs Wisky. It’s not like he had much help.

Bowl Game announcer made that weak MASH reference about him, but it wasn't as weak as his tackling.

Good luck to him but LSU has to be much getter at safety next year. As bad as the defense was, I'd argue safety was the worst position group on the field.

Glad he's back for leadership and experience. Hope he never leads the team in tackles again like he has several times, including against Wisky.

He has some ability. Always seems to be near the ball.

I think better coaching and a better system will benefit him.

The more experience back there the better. Hopefully with a good DC he can excel.

Lets be honest- he was always returning. He has no NFL future and he does play hard. His flexing is over the top, but he does play up to his ability. A lot of our players did not do that this year

I like the neck thing, I like his fire, just need the defense to play better. Hopefully the kid gets it next year, matures, and balls out.

we had a DC change and damone clark went from looking like a D3 LB to one of the best LB’s in the country.

hoping for a similar outcome here.

To put this in perspective, Burns had 9 solo tackles. None of our linebackers had more tackles than 2.

Burns has gotten much better during his time on the field. This is a great development.
