Honest Question, I've asked Jewish friends and nobody seems to have an answer...

but what was the Jewish peoples "original sin" that has made basically everyone hate them and not want them in their land for thousands of years? I've never understood why they have been persecuted by everyone throughout history.

They killed jesus and owned every banking system ever since the dawn of banking systems. They have controlled money since literal millennia ago.

Maybe the fact they refuse to be slaves or take shite from anybody? I admire them as a collective for the most part.

I think it's rooted in their refusal to adopt to the religions of whatever empire ruled them in biblical times. Its just grown from there.

No more 'original sin' than any others. I believe the hate is for God - directed at them - because God chose them to bear witness of Him

I'm probably completely wrong on this, but I don't think that's the way they look at it.
It seems to me that it's more that they believe they were chosen by God as the oppressed people he was going to use to get his message across
