China Is Gearing Up to Invade

Chinese President Xi Jinping said Sunday that China would “surely be reunified” as he addressed the nation in a speech marking the New Year, state media reported.

The Chinese military is paying close attention to moves by the United States, and will firmly safeguard China's maritime rights, security and sovereignty in the region, Wu Qian, a spokesperson at the defence ministry, told a regular news conference.

My prediction: China will be in Taiwan by the end of February.
Someone should also let Winnie know the Chinese New Year is February 2nd.

Will that be our next Holiday? Cultural and all that. Or do just black and brown get to have months of celebration?

So I guess we’ll be printing billions of dollars and sending it to Taiwan next.

Bad prediction. Not impossible but incredibly foolhardy. Taiwan has an impressive military and the terrain is impossible. A blockade or a skirmish sure, but an invasion would cost the Chinese far more than they would be willing to lose.

I don't think so either.
China has already got this by playing the long game and they know it.
They just need to keep buying the right Tawanese politicians.

Correct. They don’t have to invade. They just eventually inherit it.

Do you know how many landing craft, combat vessels, support vessels, logistics ships, troop transports, etc etc that would take?
Literally thousands and thousands of vessels. Not only is there no evidence of those vessels assembling at Chinese ports. But the entire Chinese navy doesn't even possess anything close to the fleet it would take.
It would take many years to build such a fleet, and then many many months (at least 6-8) to assemble the fleet and the invasion troops.
The whole world would know about the pending invasion at least 6 months before they could pull it off.
This whole "China is about to invade Taiwan" thing is absurd.

They know they can’t wait, looking at the possibility of Trump back in Office. They own Joe…..

Just what the world needs. Yet another large scale armed conflict.

Does this mean we'll be seeing IC chips at Harbor Freight by Summer?

Anybody who's interested in this subject should read The Chinese Invasion threat. It lays out exactly how China will do it tactically. If it were going to happen in February we would have good indications already.

Yeah, with the likelihood of Trump either winning or at the least being denied via corruption, and the unrest and dysfunction therein, they are assured of US inability to stop any invasion of a land that borders their massive Nation and has ethnic ties that go to the core. Think Russia v Ukraine.
They'll watch the political/lawfare bs over here and time their invasion accordingly. Not to mention all the military ops they are sending across our open Border, that can wreak havoc on our basic infrastructure if we jump in. The Chinese are very smart. "The Art of War" isn't just 'whistling Dixie'. Tiawan is gone as is Ukraine. We'd better have our Computer Chip manufacturing under control, or we get an arse kicking.

If the CCP managed to buy off and compromise the members of the US Corporatocracy using the same strategy to absorb Taiwan is inevitable.

They may begin a military campaign against them by then, but they aren’t invading.
They have to mass not just an invasion force, but a force that is 100% amphibious.
The world will see this coming months in advance.
Unless their plan is just isolating and bombing Taiwan in to capitulation. They could do that quickly.

Honestly, at this point, a full-scale conflict would be devastating, but for the future of the planet, it might be the best thing.
