As he navigates his future, Michigan coach Jim Harbaugh has hired Don Yee, the longtime agent for Tom Brady and Sean Payton, sources say. A notable move with NFL teams once again weighing a pursuit of Harbaugh, who is preparing for the CFP semifinal Monday night vs. Alabama.
Tom Pelissero X
THAT MAN IS GONE.
Could open a Pandora’s box for the coaching world. I think BK may throw some feelers out to Michigan, but it may be easier for Michigan to just promote Sherrone Moore.

I don't see the Chargers paying him. It's still the Spanos family isn't it?

tbh, I don’t blame any college coach for leaving at the earliest opportunity. With the multi-time one year transfer rule and NIL, coaches basically have to recruit an entire roster of players whether to join them or stick around year after year. Who the hell wants to deal with that?

If they dont get it under control, we'll see many coaches going pro in some capacity to get away from the bs

I'm out of the loop. Why would he want to leave for Michigan? What's his tie to Michigan?

Im sure 95% of this board didnt see Denbrock leaving for ND, but here we are...

He came south because this is where the talent is. Why go back up north before he ever has a chance to build lsu up? Just doesn’t make sense to me if that’s truly why he came down here.

BK to Michigan makes sense. They will get better players because they are willing to pay. Less recruiting competition. Northern school. More prestigious university. I predict he will leave if Harbaigh goes to NFL.. Go after Kiffin or Norvell.

Well then you're an idiot, zero chance that is happening.

Lsu is the best place for him to win a championship at this point and then retire. He knows this and said lsu is his last stop.

He wouldn’t. It’s complete BS.
And even if he did, they are hiring Sherrone Moore.

In the month of December an NFL coach is simply coaching his team.
For a College coach they are preparing for a bowl game, rerecruting their own players, dealing with opt outs, having players transfer out looking for higher nil money, then recruiting 17-18 yr old kids having to kiss their arse.
No brainer

At with major schools offering $7-11M annually, there will be an ample supply of talented coaches waiting in the wings.

Wouldn’t Michigan have to pay LSU a huge buyout if they go after BK?
Posted on 12/31/23 at 8:32 am to Glock17
The buyout is only like 2-3 million
