It's disappointing to hear Trump say things like this.

I'm not sure he understands the urgency of where we are at right now.

Trump’s new campaign promise? Replace Obamacare!

He repeatedly promised to do that in 2016. He said, “When we win on November 8th and elect a Republican Congress, we will be able to immediately repeal and replace Obamacare—have to do it.” But he didn’t.

The best part? Trump promised replacing Obamacare would be a top priority: “On day one of the Trump Administration, we will ask Congress to immediately deliver a full repeal of Obamacare.”

And when he failed to keep his promise, Trump claimed that he had never said he would do it. Trump insisted people were making up quotes—direct quotes from him.

It doesn’t make sense, unless you accept Trump is a con artist who does not feel an ounce of shame lying to Republicans.

There might be some pesky laws that would get in the way of your stupid idea

In all fairness, Republicans spent ten years promising to repeal Obamacare before Trump showed up and made it possible. How'd that work out for us?

Then say it.

What is your plan?

He doesn't have one. And he made this promise before 2016

Maybe if he hadn't prematurely celebrated with the ridiculous Rose Garden ceremony after the House passed the repeal the first time then dropped the issue Obamacare would have been kaput long ago.

Trump has never been interested in actually governing, it's always been about grandstanding and jerking himself off to the fame.

now-popular health care option

Popular? I never hear anyone say anything positive about Obamacare. All I hear are problem complaining about how much more expensive and less useful health insurance is now.

Correct. Throw out ideas, let opposition block you, play victim.

It's relatively popular, and it's not even on the top 10 list of things that most Trump supporters want handled.

Honestly this is depressing as hell, because the logical explanation is that Trump will always fly off the cuff and he isn't serious.

The wall and freedom of speech and dismantling the Cabal and ending Dei are where 99% of his efforts should go.

Am absolutely sure you didn't post this little more than a speculative story - that might or might not happen - just to get a few more blacks who listen to WBOK and WYLD here on local radio to rail against Trump even more than is already done, attempting to give them more ammo for their misplaced contempt and hatred.

Because if you've ever listened, it doesn't take much at all to "get it going."

No matter what Trump does, he won't undue what the Manchurian Candidate was able to set in place in this country to fester, like any malignancy.

Is it that difficult to understand that they are not particularly interested in what Trump might be able to come up with even if it turned out better, only in what Obama gave them.

He isn't dismantling any cabal

DEI is as much of a private sector issue as it is a public sector issue

Even the things that you want him to fix he can't fix. He's going to be a lame duck on day 1 because he's too short sighted

Apparently you missed the first time that Trump said he would repeal and replace Obamacare with something much better and did nothing about it

Why do you think it will be different this time?

Of course he won't

He didn't get anything done while he actually had some political capital. Now he has turned his back on anyone that might help him get anything accomplished. He's worthless at this point.
