Trump told us that last time. He also said he was going to start mass deportations of illegals, build a secure border wall, 4% GDP growth and a host of other shite he shoveled and never did. Trump is a talker. That’s it.

Exactly. That, putting Hillary in prison and the wall were his greatest boasts, none came to pass.

He may have promised too much but he put the right things in motion. Congress, HOR and the judicial system had some major fails here as well. Give them credit.

Bring manufacturing home...

I'd say he failed on every promise.

Do away with all socialist health care and just fix the broken arse private system

If you don't contribute in some way then you no longer get Medicaid, Medicare, etc

ACA was not good legislation.
There are a lot of fixes that could go into place on the private side.

But, in the real world of politics, what you’re talking about is political suicide. No contribution = no healthcare? Cut to ads of truly disabled folks (Down’s syndrome adults whose parents have died, folks with cerebral palsy, then a sweet, old grandma whose husband died 30 years ago with a broken hip asking why she deserves to be abandoned). Or in other words, it would be basically impossible to pitch what you’re saying without some exceptions. And once you allow some exceptions, you pretty much wind up back where we are by the time the pork quits being added.

I agree with the sentiment (though maybe I don’t actually mind some form of safety net given how involved I am and see quite a bit of “real” disability that isn’t self-inflicted or able to be overcome. In a “ground up, start from scratch” system, you could probably figure out a private charity system to take this on, but good luck overcoming the “death panels” and “taking care from the disabled” stigma that would be required to get the votes to overhaul without replacing with an equally bloated system.

The cost of health insurance is too damn high. It shouldn’t be tied to employment and you should be able to shop it like home and auto insurance. We pay $1500 a month and for what? Still have co-pay and deductibles then 80/20 coverage after that.

To accomplish anything, he will have to learn to work with others first, which he hasnt demonstrated is possible.

In fact, hes still actively fighting the people whose support he needs.

Oh man, he's like an 80s rock band at this point. Some people wondering why he's still on tour and others just love hearing him play his greatest hits.

I gotta see his plan.

I bet it looks just like the ACA, with Trumps name on it to make it seem different. The ATCA.
