Former President Trump vowed Monday to replace the Affordable Care Act (ACA) with his own “much better” alternative program, reviving his push to slash the now-popular health care option used by millions of Americans.

“Obamacare is too expensive, and otherwise, not good healthcare,” Trump, the front-runner for next year’s GOP presidential nomination, wrote in a post on his social media platform, Truth Social.

“I will come up with a much better, and less expensive, alternative! People will be happy, not sad!”

While attacking President Obama’s signature health care law had once been a popular political message among GOP voters, the law now has significant support across the country, with 60 percent of Americans holding a favorable view of the health law.

After several failed “repeal and replace” efforts in Congress and a number of losing battles in court, Republicans have largely given up on the issue, focusing instead of issues such as the economy and crime.

Last month, Trump similarly resurfaced his criticism of the health care law, catching many GOP lawmakers off guard when pressed by reporters on his policy proposal.
Trump, facing some pressure, tried to walk back his comments, saying, “I don’t want to terminate Obamacare, I want to REPLACE IT with MUCH BETTER HEALTHCARE.”

“Getting much better Healthcare than Obamacare for the American people will be a priority of the Trump Administration. It is not a matter of cost, it is a matter of HEALTH,” he wrote on Truth Social last month. “America will have one of the best Healthcare Plans anywhere in the world. Right now it has one of the WORST!”

Do away with all socialist health care and just fix the broken arse private system

If you don't contribute in some way then you no longer get Medicaid, Medicare, etc

1) f exchange plans
2)lol, Trump is now full on politician. Promises he knows he cant keep. Hes had 4 years sitting on the sideline to “come up” with something… anything really. And all he can do is promise he will cone up with something.

The problem is, any large scale cha ge like dissolving healthcare exchanges or revamping benefit requirements for existing exchsnge plans will cause ripple effects through the healthcare field. Thats just the nature of it. Some people will be sad, some will be happy. Theres nothing that makes everyone happy.

Eta: and i’ll still hold my nose and vote for him over Biden.

This is correct other than kids. There should be limitations for those who really need it too. There is no reason any American non disabled citizen should get free healthcare for more than a couple of years.

What about the record number of working age adults actively NOT seeking employment. How much are they paying for Medicare?

Obamacare is a perfect example of putting the toothpaste back in the tube. It can’t be done
Anyone with a half of brain knew Obamacare would cost more and be worse care.
And it’s all part of their plan

The private system is too far gone in America as well. Corporate greed is now too ingrained in the system.

Darwin has his bulldog in Thomas Huxley. The problem with Trump is that he lacks an absolute relentless advocate for his ideas who'll hammer away at Trump's adversaries.

Obama outright lied when he pitched ObamaCare. When called out on it, he and his cohorts demonized anyone who dared question the chosen Negro.

ACA Architect: 'The Stupidity Of The American Voter' Led Us To Hide Obamacare's True Costs From The Public. FORBES

They lied, and then mocked America for being so stupid as to believe the lie.

That's what they think of you.

He said he will come up with a plan...not that he has already come up with a plan.

Exactly. That, putting Hillary in prison and the wall were his greatest boasts, none came to pass.

He has no plan, he will never have a plan. This is just more carrot dangling for the dumbasses.

No one is against improving the system we have.

It sounds like a worthy idea to me.

These leftie reporters just can't help themselves.

ANYONE that had healthcare coverage pre-Obamacare knows how horrible it was for HC.
